This shopping list game is definitely a must have for kids. I bought this to play with my grandson. He absolutely love it. It's so much fun and simple to play. I also bought the snakes and ladders game from the same brand. I highly recommend them. There's plenty to choose from. Just a nice size to take on holiday too.

I bought this game for my daughter’s 3rd birthday, and it’s been a total hit from the very first play! "Shopping List" by Orchard Toys is a beautifully designed game that’s simple enough for a toddler to grasp, but cleverly structured to help build key skills like turn-taking, memory, and matching. What I especially love is how it encourages patience and teaches the concept of following rules—something that’s not always easy for a 3-year-old! She’s learning to wait her turn, recognise different items, and remember where they are on the table, all while having fun “shopping” for the items on her list. I hope this review helps! Love this game. I ordered it for my 2 year old. She is struggling with the sharing turns/ game concept but excelling with the solo game. It is excellent for matching items to the shopping lists and learning new words. The game is beautifuly designed and a great concept. Sharp printing with lovely illustrations. The tiles, trolleys and shopping lists are thick card with a glossy finish. She has tried to chew a couple with minimal damage. They seem to be fairly durable and sturdy. Perfect for memory, fine motor skills, object recognition, language skills and coordination. It is also an excellent price and would make a good gift. I am a fan of orchard educational toys and will continue to buy their products.

A fun game which helps with learning definitely recommend this easy to play game.

This game is a simple memory game. The box contains everything you need and to get started including 4 shopping trolleys, 4 shopping lists and over 30 food/household items that are easy to recognise by little one. You can purchase a booster set that contains two more shopping lists, and the corresponding items. These are clothes and other non food items just to make the game a little more interesting when little ones become bored. When you purchase the game you have to push each piece of card from the cardboard sheets they arrive on. They are sure to use foods which are purchased everyday in households so that they are recognisable and familiar to little one straight away. The pieces are card are fantastic quality, really thick which is perfect when being used by toddlers. The box they come in is also very durable and is still in perfect condition. They cars are laminated which makes them perfect for sticky little hands as they can be wiped down. The pieces are small, and so we have to be very careful not to lose any. To play you simply take a trolley card and a shopping list each. Then you place all of the items of grocery cards face down on the table. Next you take it in turns to turn over a card and check if it is on your list. If the item is on your list it moves into your shopping trolley. If not it is shown to the group and replaced face down so that it can be found if needed when it is their turn. Continue this until someone has all the items of their list in their trolley. Whenever we reach for our board games this is the one that is chosen first despite its simple appeal. It is also great for concentration. My two year old little boy is like a whirlwind at the moment and this is one of the only things that can keep him entertained for more than five minutes. It is great for teaching him the names of everyday things. As we shout of what item is on card we have picked up each game he begins to expand his vocabulary. At first he was only able to recognise a handful of the product, but now he can say almost all of them and as we are doing our shopping he tells me the names of different things. We absolutely love this game and it seems to be a hit with every child that enters our house. It is simple yet fun and lets little one use a wide range of skills while still being fun. It retails at around £7 and honestly for the fun we have received from this game already there is no doubt that it is a great purchased. I managed to pick up the game for around £4 when it was on sale which is even better. It is long lasting even with its target audience, and something that a family with young children can enjoy together.

Great game

I ama frequent buyer of Orchard games, I have 2 little 4year old grandchildren, a boy and a girl. We play lots of games and they love the range that Orchard do. They have learned so much from these games without realising they are learning not just playing. This particular game teaches memory, sharing, turn taking and recognition.

I bought this Shopping List game for my 4-year-old and it's been a huge hit! The quality is outstanding - made from durable recycled cardboard with a wipe-clean finish that's perfect for little hands. The printing is crisp, edges are smooth and safe, and everything stores away neatly. You can tell Orchard Toys knows what they're doing with nearly 50 years of experience. The educational value is fantastic. My child has developed amazing matching and memory skills while having so much fun. It works on multiple levels - younger kids can play it as simple matching, while older ones tackle the full memory challenge. With 4 shopping lists and 32 items, there's great variety. The trolley and basket elements make it extra engaging, and it's perfectly portable for restaurants or travel. This accommodates 2-4 players beautifully and has become our go-to family game. Even as an adult, I genuinely enjoy playing along. It's a wonderful screen-time alternative that actually engages kids and encourages great conversations about food and shopping. After months of regular play, this remains one of our most-used games. Highly recommended for ages 3-7!

Allego qualche foto per far vedere che i colori sono molto belli, vividi.Tutti i componenti del gioco sono di un cartoncino molto spesso quindi molto resistente. È il terzo giorno gioco che compro della orchard Toys, i precedenti li avevo comprati per le mie figlie uno era "party party party" e l'altro era "bus stop" è ho voluto ricomprare un gioco della orchard perché già ero soddisfatta di questa ditta. Questa volta lo regalerò a mia nipote. Come vedrete dalle foto le istruzioni sono anche in italiano e in altre lingue però le liste delle spese sono in inglese perché è quello il fine del gioco: fare imparare qualche nome che già fanno a scuola dei cibi in inglese. Interessante secondo me il fatto che si possano prendere gli extra che sono la shopping list che riguarda i vestiti e quella che riguarda la frutta e verdura. Tra l'altro unendo tra loro le tre shopping list il gioco diventa ancora più divertente. Mia figlia piccola che ha 10 anni ancora con le amichette del mare, che sono state conquistate da questo gioco, gioca volentieri a party party party e si diverte molto. Quindi l'età è varia

This is a fun game which is easy enough for a three year old to enjoy. It's a bit like memory but you have to match the pictures to your shopping cart and put them in. If they are someone elses, you have to turn the card around again and the one who needs it had to wait (and remember the place) until it's his or her turn. It's very good to help your kids with their language, too, as you can make the children say: "I have the banana" or "The apples are mine" (we are a bilingual family and my son had problems with his ears so his speach was delayed. This has really helped his language skills to develop in a fun way). Even my busy boy loves sitting down for it and it works well when friends his age or even a bit older join in. I've subsequently given it as a present to some of them. Have fun!
