Very strong cheesecloth for tofu making
This is a larger size than called for for my tofu press, but the package cost a lot less per cloth than the cheesecloth recommended for my tofu press. Other than size, everything else is the same. My first batch of tofu turned out great, and I was really surprised at how strong and durable these cloths are. They wash up easily and dry very quickly on the line. As much as I was โworkingโ them to squeeze out the last bit of soy milk from the okara, I was surprised the cloth did not tear. Itโs very strong and gets the job done.

Great value cheesecloth!
10/3/21 update: I have had these two cheesecloths for seven months now. I use them at least two times per month, and only for making farmer's cheese. With both, you can use up to 1.5 gallons of milk and have just enough space to tie them off to hang after you let it drain in the sink for an hour first. My main test was seeing how durable these were: and they were great! I ring my cheesecloths A LOT, either when I am actually drying the farmer's cheese, cleaning them, or washing them (I always clean my cheesecloths at the sink under water, then throw into the washer). There have been no tears, and I love how the edges are hemmed (no need to worry about loose ends like with most other cheesecloths). I will say that because of the two layers of cheesecloth in each separate one, it takes longer than I am used to to squeeze out the excess liquid of farmer's cheese, especially as I need mine to be very dry. Overall, though, highly suggest this cheesecloth!

Great Cheese Cloth
The shipping was fast. These Cheese Cloths are great for lots of food projects. They are large and can be cut to different sizes.

work great
they've held up great, bought a couple packs for filtering and such. Been pretty rough with them squeezing out Cheese Curd, filtering chicken stock and other stuff, they've been washed dried and reused many times and I still.havent had to open the second pack. better product than I expected

Great kitchen tool!
This is the first cheesecloth I've every used or purchased, but its been so useful. I originally got it to make celery juice from blender celery so that I wouldn't have to buy a juicer and waste space. It works great for that! I also stain my broth with it before I pressure can it. When I'm done using it, I just follow the directions that came on the packaging: rinse anything solid off of it in the sink, boil it for 15 minutes on the stove ( I add vinegar to the water I use to get rid of smells and stains), and then fish it out and let it air dry. It has held up well and continues to work with little to no staining.

Just what I needed
Some extra milk wasn't going to get used, so I made a batch of paneer rather than waste it. This did the job perfectly! (It might also be the first time I've actually used cheesecloth for making cheese.) Even better, the fine weave of the cloth let it peel away from the finished paneer more cleanly than anything I've used before. I have a few more jobs for these - straining a brine I use for pickles, so I can freshen up the spices for the next batch, or getting the last cloudiness out of home made bitters. I'm actually looking forward to trying these cloths for those chores. The sewn hems make these machine washable, with no chance they'll just unravel in the dryer. If these ever need replacement, I'll be back for more. Much nicer than the stuff I've been cutting from a larger piece of cloth and tossing after just a few uses. -- wiredweird
