Must have item for the RPi 3
Superb case. Fits perfectly and keeps the Pi 3 cool as a cucumber. Low noise from the fan and good instructions for assembly. I'm already looking at purchasing another

Best Raspberry Pi cooling solution out there
I do have a few gripes with it. It is a bit hard to get your Raspberry Pi/Tinker Board into it, but you get used to it after time. The main screw post (the one that holds it all together) is a little too long, so the thickness of the PCB stops it from closing entirely (which is worse with the Tinker Board because of the thicker PCB). With the Tinker Board, the fan sits directly on top of the Tinker Board's stock heatsink, and you have to remove one of the screws to put the lid on. The fan is quite loud and high pitch (which makes it audible over the other PC fans I have running). However, the cooling easily makes up for all that. Under a half hour stress test (Sysbench CPU prime number test on a 20 iteration loop), temps on both the Raspberry Pi 3 and Tinker Board don't go much above 60 degrees C, and drop back down to around 35 C within a minute or so of the test completing. For comparison, I have another heatsink fan (which cost £11) in an open case (the red official Raspberry Pi 3 case without the lid), and it reaches around 65 C, and takes longer to get back down to around 35 C; if I put the lid on the case, it'll easily reach 79.5C under the same test conditions. For that reason, this case/heatsink/fan is easily the best one I've come across, and part of the reason I bought two (and will probably buy more).

Nice little kit to use with my Raspberry Pi
Nice little kit to use with my Raspberry Pi. Fan gives off a little noise but nothing major if you are not listening for it.

The case itself is fine and quite sturdy
The case itself is fine and quite sturdy. The fan however is a load of rubbish. It started off quiet, but within half an hour it had become loud, and has remained so. Totally inappropriate for a device that will be used as an HTPC. The fan can be heard over he sound of the television. Very disappointed.

Decent kit, good quality, good cooling but too much noise, both whine and vibrations.
The case is not bad, although it does require to put the Pi in at an angle and it can become fiddly to install and remove. The pin layout for the fan is a bit unclear, even in the instructions it is hard to see where they connect. The heatsinks are the same as the ones sold separately for almost the same price, so you do get better value for your money with this kit.The screwdriver is a nice addition, but it helps if you magnetise it first, or simply screw upside down. The reason for only three stars, however, is that the fan is noisy. There is both a whine AND a mechanical vibration transferred to the case and as such to whatever surface it rests on. I can certainly hear it at night from the other side of the room, both the whine and the vibrations. As for cooling, it drops temperatures from around 82C down to around 65C, almost 20C, not bad, but the noise makes this unsustainable if you keep your Pi in the same room you spend time in.So, if you are buying only heatsinks, this is better value as it also includes a decent case and the fan.If you are after the coolling ability (as you might most likely be), consider how much noise you can tolerate. If the answer is not much, look elsewhere.

Perfect
Absolutely great product! Superb build quality and sleek design. Much better than other cases I've tried, unlike other cases this allows you to screw down the board to the casing and screw the casing halves together. The slightly raised design allows the fan to be on constantly without it catching the heatsink. Great product, would definitely buy again and recommend this to anyone looking for a sleek cooling case solution for your Pi

Don't waste youe time and money - naff rubbish!!!
Not so impressed. The case is kind of ok, if a very tight fit. Esp as the board is fragile, but managed to get it in.The screwdriver is awful and not even magnetic, which makes fitting screws incredibly difficult. The heatsinks are attached via double sided tape which may explain why they make little difference to the temperature. The fan is just shocking. Extremely loud (as others have said) and again makes little difference to the temperature. It is so loud we could hear I over out TV even although it was sitting in front of it.I received contact from the seller, who then gave me someone else's contact address and name. Not impressed.

Coolio
This little kit is a perfect addition to your raspberry pi projects I picked up this one for a pi that was going to stay permanently in situ and it's great.
