Andis - UltraEdge steel blade

Absolutely amazing. Sorry it took me so long to buy. Had bought premium pet clips before at around 60 which were meant to be pro. Fine for my middle aged westie cross who took fright at a groomers one day. However my 18month spaniel x standard poodle has a very soft wavy coat that matts instantly when he plays and very fast growing. Spent a fortune at groomers every 4 weeks! So tried my clippers but they died mid cut. Did some research and bought this set. couldn't believe it really made that much difference. His hair seemed to fall off and he was a happy puppy. I rushed through it as worried about the heat building up but it was great. I had two little few minute breaks while i turned him round, reviewed my handiwork and gave him tweeties for being so good etc and that was plenty of cooling. Do NOT hesitate to buy these and dont waste money on cheaper - its false economy especially if you have anything with poodle in it or anything but the smallest of dogs. A great purchase. I got a 7fc blade as well as the 10 standard with it and for a first try the 7fc was better although i might try and go for a slightly longer blade for winter.

Good strong clipper blades highly recommended for all grooming of pets.

It's a skip tooth which gives a natural even finish unlike xinv attachments

I can't say anything about this product because I have no idea how to use it. My friend's daughtyer-in-law has just qualified as a dog groomer and it was bought as a congratulatory gift.....

Used this to clip my Cocker Spaniel and my St Bernard! Was unsure whether it would be suitable for my ST or if it would take him too short. It was just right. He is a long haired St and it cut through his hair like anything, it makes him look like a short haired St! As for the cocker, again he is long haired and it curly hairs on his legs and ears. Again it cut through great. I would recommend this product and I am contemplating on a buying another blade from this seller. Fast delivery and as described. I would say though you do need cooling spray to cool the blade down, even on a cocker spaniel as it takes time to cut them right and the blades do get hot very quick with them not being plastic ones. Great value for money and great quality metal blade that just clipped onto my Andis Clippers.

Cuts well with double coat

I’ve had this blade two months, normally this lasts me about nine months to a year but on the back side of the blade where you attach it to the clipper is has snapped off. One fell on the floor and the other little bit fell into hair and I can’t find it. I think I have a faulty blade? I wish there was someone to contact to get a replacement.

I bought this blade as it cuts nearer to the length I like my Bichons coat to be. The one that came with the clippers cut them very short! So I had to adapt the way that I used that blade by first putting a steel comb through the hair and run the clippers against that, but it does tire your arms out doing it like that. This blade will skim off the longer hair and would go closer still if I held it against their skin! The blades are all very expensive so I can't get the one I really wanted at £35+

Blades weren't sharp from the manufacturer. No returns, no refunds, no replacement. This item is a known brand, and it was not the first time I ordered them. They use to be functioning pretty well! Last order I bought 2 pieces, and both of them were defected or damaged! Bad luck I guess! I hope to hear from the seller about this issue.
