Mystical Fire - Set of 5 Sachets

I like that you put the whole sachet on the fire rather than having to throw the powder at the flames like some of the others. These are effective and last a good while. I put 2 on our fire to start with which was impressive enough but then gradually added in the others. Each sachet is the same - they are not different colours individually but the sachets contain the right chemicals to make several different colours in one. I tried to get some photos which do look OK but nothing compared to the effect when being there. I'd definitely get these again.

Used 2 on a fire pit and they lasted a good half hour. Makes the fire look cool, kids loved it. Took a star off because it only seems to be blue and a bit of green.

Makes a bonfire fun, great idea for halloween

So simple to use and look great. Stoke up your wood fire/camp fire, wait until you have some nice tall flames and drop a sachet into the flames. Instant colour that lasts a lot longer than expected. I used them on a metal fire pit outdoors on a camping trip. Best way is to sneak them on with a log so nobody knows you are doing it! The theories about what is causing it is very funny. Also, if you have kids around the fire when camping etc. I find saying a little Harry Potter-esque 'INCENDIO!' spell as you sneak one into the flames also gets them excited. After you've used several packs you'll notice the colours entwine together in the flames. Looks beautiful. The video attached shows that - when the fire has burned down a bit.

from an environmental point of view I wouldn't buy these again. However I have bought them and the do give a good show of colour for around 30 - 80 mins. The colours seem to vary depending on the heat of your fire. I would not use in doors

We add these to the fire, secretly, just before our grandson sends his letter to Father Christmas up the chimney. He then watches as the colours change and we tell him, it’s in the air, now over the sea, etc. He’s thrilled as he thinks we know how far the letter has gone and when the colours fade, the letter has arrived in North Pole. Sadly we think this will be the last year of believing but it’s wonderful to keep the magic for as long as possible
