Dymo S0717930 Omega Home Embossing Label Maker, Grey and Navy, Embosser

This is the 3rd one I bought. They don't work. Quality, materials, construction, and assembly are very, very poor.

I picked up the Dymo S0717930 Omega Home Embossing Label Maker for my wife last year, and let me tell you, it was a game changer! She had this vision of labeling all our jars in the kitchen, and this little gadget made that dream come true. From the moment she unboxed it, I could see her excitement. The sleek grey and navy design is not just stylish but also fits perfectly into our home decor. The embossing feature is fantastic—each label comes out looking crisp and professional. No more guessing what's in each jar; everything is neatly labeled, and honestly, it looks pretty darn good on the shelves! But what really stands out is how happy it made her. Seeing her so thrilled to organize our pantry has been a joy for me too! It’s the little things, right? Now, every time I reach for a spice or a snack, I get to enjoy the fruits of her labeling labour. In a nutshell, if you're looking for a thoughtful gift that brings a sprinkle of joy and organization into your home, the Dymo Omega Embossing Label Maker is a winner. It’s practical, fun to use, and has made our kitchen a lot more user-friendly. A very happy wife indeed!

Easy to use and lots of fun. Have created labels for many household items, as well as for use in crafts such as greetings cards. Only complaint is that over time, with usage I'm having to press the lever harder to get a clear print

Bought as a gift for my organisation obsessed mum. She loves it, it prints really well and sticks great to most items, and can be removed easily too, leaving no residue. Super easy to set up and great value for money, the refills are also quite cheap it buy too

It worked for maybe half of the first pre-loaded reel. Realigning did not prevent the faint letters. Refills barely worked at all and had to be tossed. Very poor quality, after just a few uses. Avoid.

This is a simple 'push to print' label maker that has been updated over the years. The quality of the unit is good and the plastic casings are solid. The 'wheels' that contain the lettering and symbols move effortlessly and it is simple to choose the letter you want, push the casing together and see the ribbon progress to make the label. The letters and symbols are well marked on the dial wheel. There is an enclosed 'cutting blade' which cuts off the label once the letters / symbols have been punched out. Happy to recommend this label printer. It is good quality, reasonable price and produces clear labels.

So, for the last twenty odd years I have had a rudimentary Dymo daisywheel embossing tool. Lovely thing it was, green with a black wheel on the top you spun round to the letter you wanted before squeezing the handle. Very rudimentary, very functional, and almost became a souvenir of my youth. As they say though if it ain't broke don't fix it. It broke though, and couldn't be fixed. So, replacing it I went for this. The technology has obviously come on leaps and bounds, no longer does the embossing tape hang off the side but now it's secreted away in the handle. The trigger is smoother, and no longer do you just do a half-squeeze for a space for it has its own place on the wheel! This is a much better action than the old one and for that I was impressed. However, the kerning (space between letters) has gone crazy. Type three 'M's and the gap is around 2mm, three 'I's and its out there on its own with 5mm between them! The letters are bigger than they once were too, around half as big again, so I think with this increase in size has come this apparent increase in kerning. No good for roman numerals. If you can live with it then by all means go for it, but it's a little expensive for a label-maker that produces a label that looks worse that the ones created by the Dymo Daisywheel of 20odd years ago. I wish I had gone for the kiddies one, but now without seeing what it does first I'm not so sure.

Perfect for what it is needed for

Analoge Beschriftung für Deko und Gedöns Ich habe ernsthaft gezögert dieses Teil zu bestellen, denn so einige Bewertungen ließen auf unzufriedene Nutzer schließen. Trotzdem wollte ich für den Weihnachtsmarkt ein simples Werkzeug zum beschriften. Ohne Akku, Display oder Ähnliches. Also Augen zu und durch. Ich habe erst einmal mit der Anleitung gestartet, um mir diverse Probleme zu ersparen. Nach einigen Etiketten lief es für mich problemlos. 1. Ich füge vor der eigentlichen Beschriftung 1-2 Leerzeichen ein, damit das Band nicht knickt 2. Ich füge nach der eigentlichen Beschriftung ein Leerzeichen hinzu, denn manchmal schneidet das Gerät zu dicht an der Schrift 3. ich drücke bei der Beschriftung fest zu, damit alle Buchstaben sauber sichtbar werden 4. ich achte auf die angegebene Stellung der beiden „Kreise“ (waren die Kinder unterwegs, dann ist es gerne verdreht und dann schreibt auch nichts!) Beim Trägerfolie abziehen gibt es manchmal ein wenig gefummel, aber das ist bei doppelseitigem Klebeband nicht anders. Insgesamt habe ich vier Rollen Band verbraucht und habe nichts zu meckern. Es läuft alles immer noch problemlos!

This maker is awesome! I've managed to label everything in my house, a few things in my neighbours backyard and more! Works really well, and is so much fun for the price.

Es el dymo de toda la vida con cinta negro y letras que sobresalen en blanco, solo mayúsculas (con una acción algo mejorado y diseño más ergonómico y bonito- la cinta se esconde en el mango). La cinta pega sin problemas. Es fácil de usar y las letras son claramente marcadas. Ojo que no hay Ñ ni Ç. Pero si hay Ä, Ö, Ü, €, £, los numerales y . , / @ y un espacio. El espaciado generosa entre letras es un poco anti-estético, o quizás es la estética dymo, y ya está. Es oportuno recordar hacer un espacio antes de cortar al final. Me gusta que hace un curioso semi-corte antes del corte de la cinta, para que sea muy fácil quitar la película trasera antes de pegarlo. A menos de 10€, me parece buen precio... puede ser que recuperan el dinero en lo que gastes en cintas. Viene suministrado con una cinta negra para empezar.
