I've been using these for months now and they're absolutely brilliant considering the price of them and how many you recieve. As long as you take them in the morning, you check them once the purple has faded and if you take pics of them they're super easy to track. I definitely recommend these for people who are looking for a reliable but cheap test to get an idea of their fertile window. I also take the clearblue purple ovulation tests on the tests that show the darkest line to make sure I'm ovulating and they've been correct everytime. However, the onestep blue pregnancy tests did NOT work for me. So I recommend these ovulation strips, but not the pregnancy tests. Hope that helps! And babydust to all of you trying x

I vowed to myself I would post a review on these little sticks as soon as we got pregnant and here I am writing this after having seen our little bubs at the 20 week scan :). A lot of my friends had success using ovulations sticks and reccomended them to me before we started trying. Unfortunately coming off the pill after a long time meant I had no concept of my 'fertile window'. I bought these dip in a cup cheapies to use when at home for days prior to when I thought I might ovulate, and also bought some midstream tests to use when out and about or at work, and went on to testing twice a day (to be honest probably a bit OTT but didnt want to miss LH surge!). These sticks were always consistent with the midstream ones I bought (also from Amazon), and for me they got progressively darker leading up the the LH surge itself. I fell pregnant first time using these but unfortunately suffered a very very early loss, but we tried again the next cycle using the same method and thank our lucky stars we fell pregnant again. I think you will see from some of the reviews that some are 5 stars because people have managed to get pregnant using these, and some have 1 star because it hasnt worked for them. All i can say is that even if we had not conceived straight away I would still have given them a good review as for me they did exactly what they said they would. Note I did follow all the instructions, ie room temp urine, not to take too much water prior to testing etc etc. If you like me are unaware of your cycle or have long cycles and need to test over a long period then these can save you money as they are cheaper than the midstream tests, and certainly cheaper than the ones you buy in the high street stores. Ps. I know I shouldnt have but I even used a couple of these as little preindicators pregnancy tests as I didnt want to waste the expensive pregnancy tests I had bought. Although the second line didnt come up as strong as if I had an LH surge it was dark enough to indicate I had some HCG hormone in there, and encouraged me to take the pregnancy test which I did the next day and came up strong positive. ***********UPDATE*************I am returning to repurchase these as I want to start trying for a second baby in the next few months. When I used these strips last time I got pregnant within 3 months thanks to these helping me pinpoint exactly when I was ovulating so I could increase my chances of becoming pregnant. Obviously everyone and every body is different however without the help of these strips helping me to calculate exactly when I was ovulating I would imagine it would have taken me a lot longer to conceive, I was able to use these as a pregnancy test too however I did purchase a separate pregnancy test just to confirm my positive pregnancy. I purchaed these strips as I'm 39 and want to get pregnant asap. I have been using the online ovulation calculator however it gives you a window of about a week and unless you are TTC every day, which can be difficult, it would be easy to miss your ovulation slot especially as my cycle varies from 23-28 days so I thought I'd give these a try to increase my chances and get pregnant hopefully quicker. I haven't tried any other ovulation testing products so I cannot compare them to anything else, however I would definitely recommend as they are so easy to use, well besides the bit of collecting the urine sample. The instructions recommend starting to test on day 11 after the first day of your period if you are unsure of your cycle length which I was, I was also a bit impatient and started on day 9. I took the sample each day when I got in from work having not drank too much fluid in the afternoon. I tested the sample taken straight away ensuring I kept the strip in for at least 10 secs and ensuring I did not to go over the max line. Initially they were all negative and I found some of them difficult to read and was unsure if it was a positive or not, however when I was finally losing faith in the strips on day 14 I got a positive. All I can say is when you get a positive you will definitely know as it is very clear and equally as dark if not darker than the top line. If I'd been using the online calculator I'd have been at the very end of my window of opportunity and could possibly have lost enthusiasm and missed my ovulation day altogether. So to conclude this is my first month trying the strips and have found them to be extremely helpful. So fingers crossed I will update in due course and let you know just how effective they have been.

Been having tests with doctor for fertility, been using these strips for two months and have never shown signs of a positive result for ovulation. Was persuaded by the reviews that they do work and to keep going. But blood tests showed everything was normal except for progesterone so kept waiting for peak ovulation. These were unclear and every day would show different indications of how ‘fertile’ I was. My husband brought me some clear blue as he felt these were cheap and unreliable. We used the clear blue twice a day, 08:00 and 22:00 for fours days and on the second test showed high reading on the clear blue, however still neg on these ones. Tonight I tested, collected urine in a pot. Dipped both the cheap ones and clear blue in the same pot at the same time. As the picture above shows, I’m now at peak ovulation.. if I hadn’t of checked with both I wouldn’t have known to be ovulating and would have missed this fertile window. Please buy these with caution, if I went by these I wouldn’t know.. they are cheap and easy to use but for me they did not show my fertile window and by buying clear blue it could have saved me a trip to the doctors and multiple blood tests!

You do get alot. But I find the instructions difficult to fathom. If you refer to the image I've attached. 2 lines mean you're ovulating. But also 2 lines can be negative. So which is it..... I must assume they mean the test line is fainter. But surely it may be faint when you've just started ovulating. Or when you're close to finishing.... I myself haven't had 2 strong lines ever. But my periods are not always regular. But have been the past 3 moons. If I ever get 2 dark lines I will update.... You get loads so that's good for the ppl not regular so you can test daily. But, I dont know. Either I'm not ovulating or they aren't working for me.... I get 1 line alot. But I've 2 lines now. 14days exactly from my last period start date. But the test line is faint. But why is it always just 1 line every other time of the month except when I should be ovulating? I'm sure I'm ovulating. But the directions would say im not

Really reliable tests which do pick up my LH surges. The fact you can buy like 10 packets of these for the price of some of the branded ones is great for me, good value for money, especially since I tested from days 6-29 when my period arrived. Would've cost a fortune in other brands. Only knocked off a star because I found it sometimes doesn't show my "positive" days as dark as it really should be, and I tested the same sample with a different test and the line was darker/as dark as the control. But now I know that, I can tell when the surges are anyway. Really recommend especially if you're tracking your LH throughout your cycle, even more so if you're taking multiple tests a day like me to narrow down the window of highest fertility. No baby yet, but at least I know that I'm trying at exactly the right time!!

It showed when my LH levels peaked quite well and allowed me to anticipate when I will be ovulating. I logged the results on premom app alongside tracking BBT levels

Very happy with this product, good price for the amount you get, very clear instructions, easy to use, can even get away with not using a pot if you get what I mean ladies, don’t be fooled by seeing two lines and thinking it is positive like me the line one the left has to be darker or same Colour as the test line to know it’s a positive test as a faded line can mean your ovulating tomorrow or the next day, Flo app showed me this so that is also a good thing to have to show you. I’m super glad I brought this product because I never knew when I was even ovulating until I started using these.
