Very striking!
Purchased as a gift for my adult son. This flatware is very striking in appearance with a masculine flair perfect for his very tasteful, but "no frills" decor. Nicely weighted as well. Rated only 4 stars as he has yet to see how its durability & appearance will hold up with daily use over time.

Great
Very nice set with only one negative. The soup spoons are a little on the small size. Other than that this is a vert nice set and I am well pleased.

Disappointed
Bought two sets in black and was really happy with the weight and overall look but many pieces were scratched and had marks on them.....so back they go :-(

I’m returning the flatware because color is only on one side of the knives

Good quality and practical flatware; but not optimal for some
This flatware has a nice heft and solid feel. Whether you like the black "stickers" (which are on one side only) is a matter of personal taste. However, the stickers do seem to be well affixed, and they are almost flush with the exposed metal of the handles, so you can't to catch a fingernail or anything else on the edges. The individual pieces seem are a pretty standard shape and size, very similar to our old set. The knife edge is slightly serrated and should cut better than our old knives, while not being too sharp for non-sharp tasks like spreading peanut butter -- and not sharp enough to cut your tongue when you lick it :) .I did a limited test on the set's durability running one knife and one fork through our dishwasher every day for a week. After those washings, the metal surfaces did not look any different those of the unwashed pieces, as one might expect. More importantly, the black stickers/inlays were not faded or discolored compared to the unwashed pieces. However, I did notice at that time that a roughly 2x3mm corner of the fork's black inlay was chipped away (see lower right corner of image). I didn't notice that chip before I started wash the pieces, so it might have already been present from manufacturing, I just don't know. Anyway, I subsequently ran both pieces on a "sanitize" dishwasher cycle (160 deg F), and they suffered no (further) ill effects. Then I tried to chip away further on the chipped corner with my fingernail for a couple minutes with no effect. Then I tried with a razor blade, and still couldn't get any traction, so I don't think that this piece is going to further deteriorate in the long term.Curiously, I could catch my fingernail at the chipped area, but not on any of the other edges. Maybe something is done purposely in production to smooth down all of the manufactured edges -- the manufacturer does brag about their process for applying the stickers. Now that I've tested these, I'm going to put the entire set to regular use. If I see any problems in the next couple months, I'll update this review; else you can assume that mine are holding up fine. So, five stars for now.UPDATE 12/5/2022After putting these into daily use, mixed in with my old flatware, I noticed two characteristics that some users may not like.1) As I indicated in my original review, the knives are serrated, on one side, and as expected they do a better job of cutting meat than non-serrated knives. The downside is that when cutting some things, a hard stick of butter in particular, the one-sided serration makes it extremely difficult to make a nice vertical cut, which I need to do almost every morning to spread on toast. Unless you're really careful, the knife tends to slip off on an angle halfway through the cut (or maybe for lefties, it would do the opposite, digging in further).2) The end corners of the spoons and forks, like the one pictured, are not very rounded. Unlike my old set, they tend to dig into the palm of your hand if you're holding the utensil "properly," like your mother taught you.The actual finish on the utensils has held up fine, as hoped. I'm deducting one star just as a warning to potential buyers for whom two areas above might be an issue.
