Not too sweet...
I LOVE Tiptree jams & conserves & Green Gooseberry very nice indeed...Not too sweet, appreciated as I am Diabetic. My son bought me a veriety bag of Tiptree for Christmas...take in moderation, always nice x

Gooseberry products not Easy to Find
Here we are in England, yet it is very difficult to find gooseberry products [I insist it's pronounced gusberry please] I have to look quite hard to find English produce and as this is a nice Essex brand I was happy to pay more for it, for the pleasure of one of my favourite fruit concoctions.

I love gooseberry jam. This was quite sweet and overpowered the flavour of the gooseberries. A shame

Read “Gooseberries,” by Anton Chekhov with your book club, or, better yet, George Saunders’ “A Swim in a Pond in the Rain,”and serve gooseberry preserves on toast. Or just enjoy! It’s worth the occasional splurge.

Wonderful taste!
Growing up in Hawaii, gooseberries were nonexistent. I had read about them and was curious as to its taste. Tiptree to the rescue. I bought a jar, liked the taste, and have never looked back. How would I describe it? A little tart, a little sweet - kinda reminds me of a plum. Full-bodied, distinctive taste. If you are tired of the same old strawberry, blueberry, orange, give this a try. I'm guessing you won't be disappointed.
