Saw 1-7: The Complete Collection [DVD] [2016]

just to set things clear; lots of people acting all smart alecky and providing wrong information.set is from Netherlands. which means Dutch subtitles . Holland = Netherlands = Dutch. Get it? no other subtitle options so stop asking. Dutch, not Deutsche. NOT GERMAN. some ignorant people mislead with their appalling lack of general knowledge.all movies are still in ENGLISH. for god's sake. it was never dubbed in any other minor European language. and ONLY English option is available.lastly, all the movies are REGION FREE. plays in Americas, Europe, Asia, islands to the south of the equator etc etc. Whoever says is not working on their player is due to a problem with the user, not the region coding of the player or disc. I tried this personally on bluray players of different region codes.and NO. there are no extras or special features.

Some people may say oh they are just good for shock value or label, them as slasher flicks and not like true horror flicks "The Exorcist" "The shining" etc yeh they are not full of good acting , yes some of it is predictable, but in all if horror is not your thing find another genre that is, horror is one of my favourite genres and it doesnt get better with modern horror than SAW. They maybe could have finished at saw 3, But they are all a joy to watch with the different traps and different plot twists.They wont make them like this for a while.

I love the Saw films with a passion and while i think they did 4 too many they are great movies!!!For me the reason i watch them in the traps they make there so clever and well thought out you wonder how they can top it each movie!!! My fave movie is the final chapter.These movies look incredible on blu ray i would say 2,5,6 & 7 look the best of them the sound is incredible too having heard things i didn't on the DVDs :)There is many hours of extras spread across the 7 films making of,music videos etc Highly recommend if you enjoy horror films

I love the Saw films, one of my favourite films, not of all time mind you but I enjoy watching them. My four star review isn't based on the films but based on the box that arrived.When I opened the package with the rest of the films I purchased, which was all today this and two others (Hostel Trilogy & Color out of Space for those who care haha) I heard a rattling sound and my heart sank to my feet, my first thought was "What was that?!". I first pulled the Saw box set out and heard two discs moving and my fears were 50% true. The two discs, seen in the second image I've attached, where the other way round on top of the Saw III Extreme Edition disc. The thing the disc holds in (not sure of its correct term) has broken, I'm not sure if it's down to the driver hitting potholes and somehow the box rattled around or maybe it something else I'm not sure.As I'm typing out this review I'm trying the two discs in question and they work perfectly fine as of them getting to the menu screen.If you plan on getting all of the films, you should. Great value for your money. Shame about how mine was.

If you like the Saw franchise then owning this collection on Bluray is a must. As with all things bluray the devil is in the details and walls and gore just comes through a little more crisper than on DVD. The sound is great and I only have a 5.1 setup, the groans of victims and other ambient sounds bring the torture rooms to life.The discs feature the details of how the saw traps and other items are created along with the usual commentaries, which I don't bother with to be honest, however the traps and tortures were of interest.Highly recommended.

This is exacylt what it needs to be. For a very good price, you have all seven films, well packaged and in BluRay. There is no great mystery here. I doubt that anyone has never heard of the films.I have recommended them time and time again. In my opinion, they stand above the average films of this variety, by offereing a complex, weaving storyline, with a beginning and an end. i like they way the information drops into place. Sometimes, things go a little over the top and too gruesome. However, nobody can play this and expect 'The sound of Music'.

Blu ray disks review. All worked fine on standard blu ray player. English subtitles on all disks and minimal adverts, which can be skipped. Box set was perfect, came in a book style so each disk on it's own spindle (not all on one as some have said). Sound and picture was perfect on all disks, although a bit quiet on 3rd disk, and occasionally the picture looked a bit grainy, but generally fine. Some have said it's in Dutch, but none of it is. Overall extremely happy with purchase which arrived on time and in good condition.

For the price this is a great deal, there is a very clear improvement in regards to quality, and I am pleased with the purchase, ok, case is not great but what do you want for that price, its a import no English subs, but its in English, picture quality great , really do not see why it is getting mixed reviews, purchased the region 2 set at more than double the cost if you want better packaging or English subs.As a bonus the the disc is in 3D which is great, i have no problems with these discs, :)

THIS DOES NOT WORK IN CANADA. this dvd is meant for players In the UK. although I was disappointed in that, the package came in great shape and looks wonderful

Solo lo quiero por lo pequeño que es. Las películas las tengo que cambiar por las de aquí, por que no subtitular saben estos ingles en español

you should not be selling this to us people this is wrong I paid $110 for this set is my sister Christmas gift who is dying with Cancer Thanks

Not one disc plays. All junk. Thanks for wasting my money.
