AUTOCAD The Student Edition Release 10 (1982-89)

I used this version for 10 years before replacing with new version. This version was very good for machine shop drawings and metal fabrication projects. I really liked the easy to use interface and the speed even on old hardware. Rendering in 3D is not photorealistic.This would be good for those just starting with CAD and willing to use DOS. My biggest gripe was the lack of driversfor newer printers. But, the drawing files can be printed using a newer version of AutoCad LT or Turbocad. Being able to boot DOS and newer operating systems would make this version much easier to use.The the manual is excellent - suitable for self-taught.I think I need to make it clear that this version runs in DOS and is on floppy disks.
