ZYBER Link Cable for Quest 2/3/3S & Quest Pro 2/1 - High-Speed USB 3.0 to USB C for PC VR & Steam VR (White)

Connected to Quest 2. Nice long lead but I have secured it to the headset close to the charging port as it's quite a heavy duty cable!!

Recently purchased for my daughter as she ordered a meta quest 2 vr set, she wanted to try this lead as it was recommended to her by a friend and 50% cheaper than the official one. It does exactly as it’s meant to, no break up in communication and so far so good.

The ZYBER Link Cable 5M/16 FT for Oculus VR headset comes in brown none branded box. The cable works with my Oculus 2 no issue. The cable seems good quality as it is tough and thick but will allow for movement. It is a little thicker than a standard cable.The data rate is not exactly what it promises, but it does work. The 3.0/3.1 specification does not specify a maximum cable length between USB 3.0/3.1 devices (SuperSpeed or SuperSpeed+), but there is a recommended length of 3 meters (or about 9 feet and 10 inches).The notes state that you must be on firmware 1.43.0.324299 for the cable to function as designed. I do like the length of the cable as I can use it from my bed on the other side of the room.The USB connector are nickel plate with gold pins. However, one down side is that it offers no warranty on the box, or in packaging with the cable.Overall this is a good cable and I give it 4 stars.

Works perfectly with my Meta Quest 3 and far far cheaper than the official Meta link cable which is a ripoff.

The media could not be loaded. I review a lot of cables on vine and use them all the time at work and home. For £20, I can’t see what that buys you compared to other cables. Admittedly, they are a specific specification for oculus, but when you break it down to what it is, you can buy much better cables at similar or lower cost. The areas I don’t like are the cable stress protection. The cable isn’t braided and will easily be cut or damaged. Considering this is for something you wear and should be designed to move, a braided cable should be a basic requirement. Second disappointment is the plugs. Again, this is moving when in use, so the stress protection between cable and plug should be high standard to prevent damage to the cable from movement. These are low quality stress protection providing little movement dampening so the cable will get damaged at the point it connects to the plug. It has a pretty glowing light though 🤔So, as the actual build quality of the cable is below the standard of standard cables, I can only assume the price reflects the niche purpose. Better quality alternatives should be sought.

Bought this as an alternative to the oculus 2 cable and it works perfectly
