Not directly plug and play but works with modification
In the end this sensor got the job done but it was not as plug and play as advertised for the Anet A8. I had to remove one of the wires from the plug and run it directly to the 12V power supply to get the sensor to work. Found this out after many failed attempts to autolevel where the nozzle was smashed into the bed. The sensor requires 10-30V, the output on the Anet board is 5V. Also this will not work with glass on the bed

Acrylic board cracked right in half
I finger tightened the screws to hold the acrylic board that holds the sensor onto the printer and it cracked right up. ANY other kind of plastic works. I am going to PLA one.....once I level my bed. Sensor is fine.

TERRIBLE QUALITY!!!!! SUPER CONFUSING TO USE!!!! DON'T BUY!!!!
I hooked it up to my Anet A8, tightened the screws a little, and *SNAP* The acrylic broke off, so I decided to glue the parts back together. Success!! Except, no. Then I had to upload the Skynet firmware. That was one of the hardest things I have ever done and I know how to use Arduino (I've coded some of my own code before and put it on a UNO) but the code was all messed up. In the end, I got it to work, however, it stopped working right after my first print with it. The instructions were terrible and I probably read half of War and Peace worth of articles to get it. DON'T BUY!!! DON'T BUY!!!

This sensor is for steel only.
This sensor will work on a bear aluminum build plates, but not with any material over the build plate 3 mm or thinker consistently.

Funciona para lo que necesito
El sensor me ha ayudado muchísimo para auto-nivelar mi impresora antes de imprimir, sin embargo, la base que tiene se me rompió al apenas darle poca fuerza para apretar y tuve que imprimir otra para montarlo, después de eso fue instalar un firmware nuevo a la impresora. Le doy esta calificación por la calidad baja del plato y porque no hay link o referencia a algún manual para su instalación o funcionamiento, sólo viene lo que se ve en la foto.
