Perfect gift for kids. My 8 year old sister loved creating her own book and then getting the physical copy. Shipping the physical book back to the kid takes a really long time though

The Lulu Jr. Kit has been an absolute delight for my six-year-old daughter. She spent two months creating her very own book and had an absolute blast using the kit's user-friendly pages. The process was engaging and fun, allowing her imagination to run wild as she crafted her story and illustrations. The end result was a book that she's incredibly proud of, and we all love it too! One of the things we appreciated about the kit was the option to print additional pages from their website. This came in handy when my daughter made a few mistakes during the creative process, and it saved us from feeling frustrated about needing to keep the mistakes. The flexibility to add or replace pages was a thoughtful feature that enhanced the overall experience. However, the only downside we encountered was the delivery time. It took about 8-10 weeks for the book to arrive in the mail, which felt quite long, especially for an excited young artist eagerly waiting to see her finished creation. Despite the wait and the additional cost of roughly $14 (excluding shipping) for extra copies of her book, the joy and pride my daughter felt upon completing her very own book made it all worthwhile. The Lulu Jr. kit is a fantastic way to encourage creativity and storytelling in young minds, and we highly recommend it to any parent looking to nurture their child's imagination and artistic skills that doesn't involve a mess!

Great value, good ideas and illustrations. Quick return of finished product . The cover of outside box has been changed to a version that look like a very kiddish cover.they need to update the cover on the box. Ordered twice thinking they sent the wrong one. Bought for a 10 yr old but the outside cover would not inspire that age.yes its a junior kit, but juvenile drawings on the outside.makes it look like a little kid should be doing it.it is really neat to see a finished product of your child's imagination. One they can hold onto and look at it in a hard cover form. Good price and value. Note to company,Uodate the box cover.go back to the old one., it was ageless.

My granddaughter took lots of time to write and illustrate her book. It was fabulous for a 10 year old! Hard quality cover, bio on the author and a picture, as well as high quality reproduction of their colored drawings. Highly recommend.

Gave this gift to our 11 year old who loves to read. We actually used this for a homeschool project. The writing guides were easy for him to follow and was a fun way to practice writing skills. He enjoyed illustrating and putting together his story and waited with excitement for the final product. It took about 4 weeks to come and was well worth it. Great quality and such a fun memory.
