A Truly Capable Bike GPS
I have tried budget bike GPS units from Xoss, Coospo and Cycplus but always found issues with some part of the product. Highly reluctant to pay Garmin money so I took a punt on the one brand I hadn't tried, iGPSport. Well, I wish I'd gone down this route first because this is an exceptional device backed up by a first rate standalone app. It's a decent size, build quality is the equal of say a Garmin 130 and and the display is clear and crisp. It is a breeze to setup including time zone, wheel size (if you use additional sensors) and the sensor pairing couldn't be easier, either through the app or unit itself. There is the ability to customise what info the four screens display but the choice is limited to parameters set by the app. In use it is faultless, easily connects to satellites and hasn't lost signal even under tree cover. Look elsewhere and cough up £200 extra if you want mapping or even more if you want turn by turn guidance. Post ride info supplied from the app is amazing including metrics you won't see or will cost a subscription to access on Strava, which the unit has an option to sync with. For £60 this is an outstanding bit of kit and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent GPS bike computer!
I bought an iGPSport gps computer few years ago, it was good but only read in kmh. In the UK we use mph, there was no option to choose mph. Move on a few years and the now have this, a nicer, higher screen, 40 items of information displayed over 4 pages, that you can customise to show what you want if you don't like the default layout. You can add Ant+ and BLE sensors, speed, cadence, power, heart rate etc. Or you can just let it use the GPS, no wires or anything, rechargeable, lasts 40hrs on a charge they state. The app is very good, at the end of acride you press and hold the right hand button until it says SAVE on the screen. It saves your ride and syncs it to the app on your phone. On the app there is lots mire info, and a map showing your ride and stats. It even integrates to Strava and a few other popular apps to upload your ride to there too...automatically. It seems they've finally got it right, except for one thing...to choose mph you actually have to choose between imperial (for mph), or metric (for kmh). The problem with this is it also affects the temperature setting. So if you choose imperial, you get mph and Fahrenheit, no option to choose each individually, as we use mph for speed, but centigrade for temperature in the UK. Maybe they could add a choice for both in a firmware update, as it is firmware updatable. Other than that, it's great, especially with the dedicated app too.

Does what you'd expect - eventually
There were considerable concerns when I first opened the box and read the Start Up Guide. Not very informative at all and mention made of sensors of which there were none! In addition it talked of phone connections and it wasn't clear if the item worked in conjuction with a phone. I do not take my phone with me so I wondered how much use the thing would be. You also need to charge the phone before use and a charging cable (USB C) is not included. It assumes that you have one. Quick Start Guide also suggests going online to download the user guide. All I could find was more of the same. However, after more investigation and a ride out, the computer is a stand-alone item that works as you'd expect with the info that you need clearly displayed. You don't need your phone other than to customise the different page options which can then give a variety of different data sets as you ride along. There also seems to be a map function which I have not explored so cannot comment on. The phone, after downloading the app, also allows you to delete or save your ride history. All in all it seems a good bit of kit. One last reservation. On signing up for an account with the app which allows phone connectivity you are required to accept the terms and conditions. In this case they run to many pages and I couldn't find an option to render them big enough to read. Whether or not you are giving the Chinese carte blanche to read anything and everything on your phone I do not know and what China will do with all that info is anyone's guess.

Great value GPS with loads of spec
For the money you can’t complain! It’s accurate with loads of spec. This replaced a Garmin that broke after a few years and this was only a quarter of the price. For a beginner biker it will have all the necessary readings IE speed, distance, average speed, calories etc. The app is equally as good too, the analysis shows the route against a multitude of mapping, graphics showing speed, gradient and local rides that are also populated within the app. Great purchase and really happy with this GPS, just hope it lasts.
