Q: My cabinets lower frame thick is 2", is that cabinet door mounting jig will work?

Yes, it will work for your cabinets lower frame. This clamp maximum opening capacity 2-3/16”(55mm).

Q: Is it necessary to back off the height adjustment to remove the clamp from the cabinet? I do this for a living and that would not save me any time.

I hope I understand what you mean, this action is not necessary. You can also remove the clamp directly after installing the cabinet doors without having to adjust the height of the support arms. This cabinet door installation tool is very cost effective for professionals!

Q: Can you use jig upside down on base cabinets if you don’t have space?

Yes. When your installing the bottom doors just use the jig upside down to get more room to adjust the jigs height knob.

Q: So I see it will work great for upper cabinet doors. So what about lower base cabinets doors? Will the jig hit the floor?

Dear customer, the bottom of the lower cabinet needs to be at least 3.5 inches from the floor to have enough space to use the jig.
