Good product worth the money

Direct factory replacement, it was in factory pending. Setup was a simple as rowing the key 5 times and pressing the lock button. It was exactly what I wanted and needed to replace my water logged remote.

Operates like the original. Easy to program. I experienced the old one was in valet mode, after getting wet. Went on line, to remove valet mode, mixed instructions. I should have, searched re-programing the remote. Ending buying a new one, when I didn't have to. Re-programmed the old one off the instructions in the new one's box. It was fine after being accidently soaked in water, worked great. Kept the new one for backup.

This was an exact replacement. It was very easy to program and I received it quickly.

Works great as a replacement for my old Compustar remote (2WT9R-FM) that is no longer in production. Programming instructions are not included with this remote. I followed the instructions in my Compustar security system manual, but they left out some details and didn’t work. I called a Compustar dealer and he walked me through pairing: 1. Vehicle must have the compatible antenna already installed. 2. Get in vehicle and leave door open. 3. Press foot brake and Turn key from off to accessory 5 times within 10 seconds, leaving key in on position at 5th turn. 4. Parking lights flash automatically 5. Press the “Lock” button on the new remote 6. The security system chirps and parking lights flash. If you have a second remote (or want to use the original remote) press that remote lock button. Lights will flash. 7 Close the door, Press the foot brake and key start the vehicle. 8. Turn off the vehicle and test the remote start button on each remote. If that didn’t work, call a Compustar installer and ask their help to walk you through the pairing. FYI: the pairing process erases the previous remote’s pairing, so pairing a second remote must be done per steps above.

Arrived on time, brand new item

Fonctionne avec une seule AAA mais elle se décharge rapidement (je lai déjà changer 2 fous cette hiver) Jai eu de la difficulté a la programmer je ne sais pas pourquoi jai réessayer une semaine plus tard la meme sequence et sa fonctionné Avec le frein a main clé on/off 5 fois les lumières flash puis on appuie pour barrer les porte. Sinon si vous avez beaucoup de clé l'écran fini par s'abîmer mais c'est a s'y attendre.
