Comfortable and excellent value although it requires some extra effort
I'll skip right to the conclusion: I think this pillow is excellent value for money and it's my favorite pillow for back and side sleeping. I have tried a bunch of other styles, including latex, polyfill, down, down alternative, memory foam, shredded memory foam, and buckwheat. My favorite is this wool pillow, the more expensive wool pillow is a close second, and then a buckwheat pillow is third, with everything else a distant fourth and up.I like how wool pillows gently crush down into the perfect shape without completely collapsing like memory foam and without constantly fighting against you like latex. Each morning, I spend literally 3-5 seconds fluffing the pillow and then it's ready for the next night. This is my second wool pillow, and by far the least expensive. The other one was almost 3x the price. This is an overstuffed wool pillow with a cotton quilted cover. I haven't sent the cover to a lab or anything, so I can't be sure, but the inside of the cover feels more like polyester than cotton while the outside is definitely cotton. The wool itself smells clean and washed, if slightly of cleaning product. I decided to cut the inner polyester liner away and relocate the wool bolas to be directly in the cover. This greatly increases the comfort of the pillow and I recommend that anyone with a few spare minutes do this. I did it outside, which was a good idea because there is a decent amount of dust, grit and detritus in the wool. I don't knock them for this as getting 100% of the dirt out of natural wool is a tough job. I vigorously shook handfuls of the wool to filter out the dusty bits and then plopped it back into the cover. The cover itself is tightly woven to avoid any residual grit or bits coming through. I wrapped the outer cover in a pillow protector, which I do with all my pillows, since I sweat at night and don't want to soil the original cover or fill. I wash the pillow protector on the same cycle as my sheets so that I only will need to wash the pillow itself once a year or so.Overall I am impressed that Yatas wool pillow is just as comfortable if more than other much more expensive pillows. I will buy again if I have the need.

Nice wool pillow but thick
I had hoped it would be a little softer but it’s pretty dense and unsuitable for my head/neck to sleep in. I will use it for a back rest pillow. The wool was nice and clean and the pillow looks well made.

Badness have to have a limit...
I wiuld five less than 1 star. Cheap shouldn't mean product is garbage to the point ot cannot be used at all. Amount of crap mixed into the pillow (pillow? - it is barely o.k. for a dog) exceeds all imaginable limits... I tried... I really tried pulling all the garbage out. I spent 3 days, and didn't evwn make it to 50% of the filler being cleaned. My back is dead... I should've just sent it back right away. Now, since I spent so much time cleaning it, idea of sending it back sort of hurts. Yet, I am not strong enough to finish cleaning it. The worst part is that I cannot even try it before I clean it because there is no way I am taking in to the bed. There is so much dust in it that just picking pieces of crap from it is not enough - it will have to be washed and dried, and only then can ne stucked back in.All the people who generously gave this product more than 1 star are misleading people... This product is real bad. It should be free of charge, as it looks like the end product of some other process of manufacturing something else. Looks like they pit explicit garbage into a pillowcase, stiched it, so we could not see what is inside... No zipper to take excess filler out (like other brands do).

Very comfortable
I'm a side sleeper and this pillow is a welcome addition. Most pillows go flat. Or I have to squish them so they stay more firm for a while, but only in one spot, then my head rolls off. It's literally a pain in the neck. But I've had less neck pain with this pillow. It's also not so up high that I can't lay on my back for a while on it. It does eventually start to curve, so I just flip it over when it does that. It had no smell when I opened the package.I've tried a lot of pillows and even one of those neck brace things that supposedly keeps your neck neutral all night. Rolls, and orthopedic pillows, and bits of foam, real feather pillows, pillows you can remove and add stuffing to... etc etc etc. This is by far the best for me so far. And it's so simple. Thank you for making this.

Great Perimenopause temp control
I’m loving this pillow. No adjustment ability but very comfortable with medium firmness for tummy, side and back sleepers. Great quality, no funny smell and not too much flatness in 3 months. It’s been super helpful with my perimenopause night sweats. Helps keep my head temp more even.
