This type of brace was purchased for my daughter age 15, who is a avid volleyball player (middle blocker). This product contains to many straps, 4 to be exact and a burden to strap on the ankle every time she needed to play. I spoke with her coach who recommended another competitor to purchase and they do the exact same thing which is to mobilize the ankle while she is playing volleyball, (this other competitor ended up buying their product which only has two straps) I would not recommend this shock doctor v flex ankle XT brace

Product works well with low top shoes. Trouble with fitting into Mid to High top shoes.
