Lavatools PT09 Digital Instant Read Meat Thermometer (Sesame)

Very happy with this thermometer. Quick, easy, accurate and within one degree of my other thermometer that was slowly dying.

Favourite tool in the kitchen, I clean it under a boiling water tap, always hits 99.6c which gives great confidence in it's accuracy.

I bought this to replace a series of more expansive, failed meat thermometers. This thermometer is accurate, easy to use and reliable. I've been seriously into grilling & smoking for about 6 years now, and have come to conclusion that the only feature I need on an instant read thermometer is temperature in degrees F. This does that. For me, the features like preset temps for different proteins, temp hold, timers, etc are completely unnecessary and inevitably lead to programing failures that render the thermometer useless. I've dropped this one several times and gotten it wet (when washing), and it still performs like intended. Great product.

Got for my husband for Father’s Day! He made perfect steaks with it! Very easy to read, accurate and convenient hanging clip—wish it came with lanyard. Worth the money! * from previous experience, don’t leave out in the heat/sun, it will mess with the calibration
