Beach Tint - Guava

Good lip stain.

I used to exclusively use the original of this for years. The color is similar to the original product, but this feels much more thin and almost oily? It dispenses thick but blends out to be very watery and sheer, which is not what I remember the product being. The original was more pigmented and dried down to more of an undetectable, yet pigmented, matte feel. The color on this is beautiful and it blends out very nicely, but it feels a bit tacky when it’s tried down.

Wanted to love it but I don't like it at all. Sad! Not long lasting and doesn't work at all for me as a lipstain (why I bought it). I am fair-skinned and bought guava after looking at a bunch of swatches, thinking this would be a good suit for my coloring. It doesn't change my lip color noticebly.

This is a great blush for drier, mature skin, I can't say how it applies to those with oily skin. Gives a pretty, natural flush to cheeks if you use sparingly. There's a bit of a learning curve as to how much to use, a tiny dab will do ya -- any more than that and you'll look clownish. Blends beautifully into skin. Love the Guava.

This product is a cult fave, but I was disappointed, mainly because of the color (which is hard to pick online). It didn't show up on my lips; it is probably intended for someone with fair skin (I am half-Asian and my skin is light tan even in winter). The texture is like that of a mineral sunscreen, more matte than I expected and not very moisturizing.

When i received this in the mail i was a little disappointed at how small it is. Its about the size of a sample. However when i used it I felt way better about my purchase. It only takes a VERY small amount to do the job. The product is nice because since its a gel you can get it better where you want it with your fingers, the pigmentation is very high- lots of color, but its also VERY natural looking. I've always had a terrible time finding the right color blush for me however with this product since it blends perfectly into the skin and is a gel consistency (rather then a powder that sits on top of your skin) i dont think color matching is as big of a deal- you can make any color work. The size of this is perfect for traveling or for your beach bag, its waterproof- which is what i wanted and it lasts all day. Also the blush can be used as a lip stain- which i havent tried but i love products that pull double duty. It also has a great scent- light but a little purfumy.

I like it very much. At first I thought the tube was so tiny I felt cheated, but a sesame seed sized amount actually gives enough of that sun-kissed blush on one cheek, so I'm pretty impressed! I don't think it's water-based, I think the liquid base is some sort of oil, because it gives a little sheen when you rub it on your skin (gives you that sun-kissed "glow"). You'll have to give the tube a few taps to shake the contents before using, though, otherwise you'll get mostly the oil base than the tint itself. It's easy to spread, it does not dry right away so you can smudge it up a bit more to your liking before it starts to set (no weird blotches!) So far it lasts me a regular day at work. Also, I thought the tint was called "watermelon", apparently, it also SMELLS like watermelon! That was a nice surprise for me.So I think this item may be a repeat buy (maybe I'll try a different tint, we'll see). Very satisfied!
