Tasteless and fragrance-less...
I'm not sure what kind of rice this is but it's really nothing like quality Thai Jasmine rice and is just bland and tasteless. There's none of that characteristic Jasmine rice fragrance and it isn't as sticky or fluffy as it should be either. It's described as 'Thai' rice but there's no country of origin marked anywhere on the packaging or on this listing (at the time of writing) so I seriously doubt it's the real thing. American scientists previously tried to clone and genetically engineer a rice strain to rival genuine Jasmine rice, effectively putting already struggling Thai farmers out of business. Can't help wondering if that's what this is, a tasteless cloned version of the real thing. You should buy Amazon's Basmati rice instead, it's probably no more genuine than this but it's even cheaper and has more flavour.

Not much fragrance
This rice was a bit pricey, it had a very mild scent which, after cooking there was no scent at all. The rice was easy to cook, shame that it was not really fragrant.

I’ve not had any taste of Jasmine to this rice - it’s pretty much just plain rice and does go gloopy if over boiled
