This is my new fav thing in my house! Besides looking so sleek and elegant, it functions wonderfully . Our house is a one person drinks black tea and one person drinks aeropress coffee. Those are two different water temp levels to get the perfect pour. The ability to set the top range temperature (for the black tea at 212°) and then drop the setting to the aeropress temp (185°) is game changing. Everyone is happy then. The temp readout makes it very easy to see when it gets there. Being able to hold a pot of water at whatever temp you want is very handy. As well as the auto shut off should you forget you’ve got it set to hold. The unit comes to temp very quickly, it’s easy to keep clean and it’s gorgeous sitting on the counter! I was originally attracted to it because of the color and shape, but it’s more than just a pretty face…it performs really well. One of my all time favorite Amazon purchases!

I am enjoying this Electric Gooseneck Kettle. It heats the water quickly, and is very attractive. I have been making "pour over coffee" with it. It's easy to pour from.

This is a really good looking kettle. More importantly, it works great too! I have a stovetop gooseneck that I use for making pour over coffees at home. However, I wanted something that I could keep at the office. This easy-to-use electric kettle fits to the bill!The kettle is very easy to use, with a fully adjustable temperature control. Just use the dial to select the temp that you need! The digital screen shows you the current temp of the water in the kettle, and tracks the progress as it heats. When the water reaches the desired temp, it automatically switches over to "warm" mode to keep your water at temperature without making it any hotter. Very nice feature.I love the color and the matte finish, which is smooth to the touch. Lid fits snug and doesn't need to be held on when pouring. Handle is far enough from the body that you don't burn your hand when pouring.Heats water very quickly and runs very quietly. Kettle can also be muted if you don't want it to beep. It's perfect for use in my quiet office environment and will surely help me get through those afternoon meetings!

The media could not be loaded.  I loved this kettle at first! I use it and take care of it exactly how the directions say to. Recently I’ve gotten pretty sick, my throat seems especially bad! Today I went to fill the water in my kettle and realized the metal is flaking off and a tonnnn of metal flakes are in the water and I’ve clearly drank a lot of it and this is obviously the cause of my current health issues. I would not buy this kettle unless you want to be drinking metal flakes!

For years I've used a Zojirushi VE Hybrid boiler and warmer, which worked very well and continues to work, but it's a 4L capacity, which is convenient but takes a while to boil. I initially bought the BUYDEEM Gooseneck Kettle because I wanted a smaller capacity kettle for pour over coffee. Buydeem products are beautiful, this gooseneck kettle is no exception. I have had the kettle for almost a year now and use it to boil water a few times a day, for coffee and tea. I gradually stopped using the Zojirushi boiler because the BUYDEEM boiler boils pretty fast, so if I wanted more hot water I can always just quickly boil another pot. The only feature I miss is the kettle doesn't automatically lower the water temperature after water temp reaches boiling point. I need to manually adjust it down, otherwise the water just keeps boiling. But this is a small inconvenience. BUYDEEM has great customer service - I happened to interact with Rika a couple of times, and both times she responded in a timely manner, and always ensured my questions were fully addressed.

Love the color of kettle and it heats quickly

I'm so happy with this kettle. My number one favorite thing about it - you can mute the beeps! I'm often heating up water before anyone else is awake, and my old kettle beeped so loudly with every button press and when the water was done, but you can mute the beeps on this and it remembers that it's muted even if you store it unplugged. No beeps ever! Love that. It also remembers your F/C settings.It's got just the right capacity for one or two people. It's small and easy to store out of the way when you're not using it. The gooseneck spout gives you a nice smooth pour. I haven't had any issues with leaks around the base of the neck at the joint.The min/max lines are easy to read on the inside, and are intuitive to look for, if you're holding the kettle in your right hand. The handles (main and the little lid handle) stay completely cool.The controls are very easy to use. Set your temperature with the knob and press it; the kettle will heat quickly and keep your water warm even if you don't get back to it right away. The little LED even lights up.Also love the cozy green color! The pictures in the description almost made the handles look black, but they're really gray, which look better/softer with the green. Very nice.

This Electric Gooseneck Kettle is what everyone needs. It will reach boiling temperature of 212 F within 5 minutes. It's build in thermometer is accurate. I used a separate thermometer to see the accuracy of the one on the base unit and it matched up. I tested the water boiling temp at 180 F and both the kettle and my instant read thermometer read the same thing, 180 F. Whatever temperature you choose to set the unit at, it will increase towards that temperature by 5 degree increments until it reaches within 5 degrees of set temperature, then it will switch to 1 degree increments until it finishes. My only whines about the unit are. You can not get the bottom of the kettle wet, because the heating elements and perhaps some electronics are here. The opening to the kettle is small making it difficult to reach inside with a sponge to clean. And the power cord is short, just over 25 inches. Making one moving it closer to an outlet, unless you use an extension cord. Over all good unit for coffee and tea drinkers. Great for college students who eat a lot of instant noodles in their dorm rooms.

I only add about 12 ounces, enough for a cup of coffee and a little reserve. By the time that i have the drip filter loaded with coffee the kettle beeps that it is at precisely 197F. I have accurately measured the water temperature and it is indeed at 197F.Great construction, stylish, and in my opinion a quality product

Seven months use, lids broken. Customer service give me the solution is, try super glue or 20% off buy another one. Finally the customer service contact me and send me a replacement. I appreciate that and thanks for the help.

I am the only one in my home that enjoys tea, so this is mine! :)It holds 500ml and it’s about perfect for me.Instead of just preset buttons, you can use the dial to adjust the temperature to your liking and push down the knob to get it going.Once it boils to your requested temperature it will auto shut off and keep it warm until you get to it.If you prefer no sounds you can turn them off.Quite happy with it!

Wow! After using so many old style kettles in the past, I must say that I absolutely love this one.If you’re making different types of teas or pouring hot water over your own ground coffee, this is the kettle for you.You can set any temperature that you’d like to the degree.The dial is precise and it’s so easy to get your exact preference of water temperature. I have tested with a digital thermometer, and the temperature is accurate.It also keeps the water steadily at your chosen temperature for about 1.5 hours.The water reaches temperature quite fast, and there is is option to have The kettle beep audibly or you can turn off the beeping.The design is just beautiful, elegant and simple and sophisticated all at once. I love the colour (“oat”) it’s so classic and timeless.Beautiful thin gooseneck allows for a beautiful pour.There is only one very small point to make, and it just a side note, this is not a very large capacity. It’s great for 2-3 people. The water does come to temperature very fast, so it shouldn’t be an issue if you’re making tea for a few people.Overall I’m very pleased with this kettle, and really enjoying my pressed coffees!!

This kettle looks & heats like it should.Problem-the top of the kettle knob is broken after 1 month.The heating feature is accurate.Update: I contacted customer service and they were very quick to respond. They sent a replacement and we’ve had no issues since. Love this kettle especially how quick it is to boil and the keep warm feature. Customer service was great too!
