Love having this for my backyard. No more extension cords across the lawn! I keep it plugged in when in the house with the echo in the holder. One strange thing I noticed is when I touch the echo in a certain spot, it stops. If I tell alexa to resume or play, she continues with what you are playing. At first I thought it was because of the portable charging station but actually it's the echo. When in the house I'm not usually touching it. When outside sometimes I move it around and that's how I noticed. A little annoying but good to know I can just say resume and it's playing again. Must be some kind of pause feature?

If you have an Alexa in your home this is your best option to have it with good care, it is at a good price, it has good qualities and material, good use since you do not have to have it up to date while you use it.

These look good and work fantastic. We listen too music outdoors on the deck almost all day on weekends. The battery life is excellent. HOWEVER, I just bought my SIXTH base because of the inability to charge them after a year or two of use. I don't know if the little jumper is defective or the port....but you plug it in to charge and at some point, it loses electrical connection and your Echo dies.....I wish they would improve it!

So convenient to take with you around the house or outdoors , comparable and fits with Alexa kids. Good value for the price.

Exactly as described. Super convenient, I can take alexa anywhere within my wifi range non my property amd listen to music or whatever. It's awesome.

So, I bought this battery about a year and a half ago, and is dead. Initially, it was working perfectly fine, no complaints at all. I was pretty happy with the performance it delivered for quite some time. However, lately, it's been really struggling to hold a charge and with the port. It dies out way faster than it used to, which is super inconvenient. I was expecting it to last a bit longer than this, to be honest. Now I'm back to square one, looking for a replacement. It's a shame because it was good for a while.

IWith out being prompted, I just had to write a review for this Amazon Echo base to help others sort a problem I've had for a long time. I already own an Echo device, but I wanted music/radio in the bathroom where there is no power socket. For a long time I've struggled with other brands of Alexa enabled portable speakers. I want to be able to just say Alexa play ..... first thing in the morning when going for a shower without going into an app. Then I discovered almost by accident, that this Alexa battery stand does exactly what I need. Just unplug and go, then pop the connector back when finished. It makes the Echo device completely portable. As the Echo has a temperature sensor, I can take it to the greenhouse to ensure the tomatoes are not too hot or even outside in the garden when having a BBQ. It's important to know it works on the house Wi-fi, so can't be taken out of range. Instructions state battery lasts 5 hours although I've not used on just battery power for that long. It's been fine for my needs. When not using the battery, it just sits in the cradle charging with clever technology stopping it from over charging. If your Echo is already set up, then this simply plugs in. I was moments away from buying a different brand speaker when I found this stand.

Hace su función para escucharlo por donde vayas de la casa, pero para sacar provecho...hay que desconectarlo muy amenudo...la clavija falla... inconveniente para su función de carga...se apaga todo 🤦🤦🤦creo que ya hay otro sistema más novedoso, probaré el sistema nuevo a ver que tal.
