Q: Description says 12x16, mat 11x14. Pic looks like a smaller mat. Which is correct? I have a 12x16 print would like to use the mat.

It depends on how much of a bordor is on your picture. If the subjects are on the edge of the 12 x 16, you will lose some of it by using the mat. Mat is very narrow on the sides and about an inch at the top and bottom.
