MOBO with AM5 future upgrade path, Excellent overall Performance, Build & BIOS control options
This whole platform is very powerful and is a great match for the Ryzen 9 7950X3D In it's entirety, This Motherboard is a Feature Packed Platform with many Top spec technologies. It has been rock solid in its primary role as part of a home Compute cluster, (part-time gaming rig ;) running demanding compute workloads (VMs/Pods/containers) almost 24/7. One part where I feel that maybe a few pcie lanes could have been sacrificed would have been with native 10G LAN, but with that said the actual Intel I255-v 2.5G Ethernet is still more than good, plus with the option to use USB4/Thunderbolt/Plugin USB 10G NIC or a PCIE slot it provides a lot of flexibility options. Asus have done a solid job on the actual build quality itself, one key aspect are the heatsinks for the Gen5 NVMe slots, these are substantial/Beefy heatsinks and will actually function well as opposed to only being there as just part of the Aesthetics. The same for the VRMs Beefy heatsinks to help with any power demands you throw at this board. The Board layout is very good with ideal positioning for fan headers, etc. QLED is another very nice touch with acts as a Temperature indicator as well as displaying BIOS Codes on Boot. Connectivity Asus have provided a huge number of ports on this board, with multiple USB USB3.2 / USB-C 20G /TB4. Lots of room for devices and future expansions. The labeling on the Rear IO shield is helpful and a nice touch. The Board also comes with WiFi 6E (.ax 160MHz spread) which works very well! This goes to my point this MOBO gives you options and the flexibility you need. Audio and DAC/DSP Chip. This board comes offers some very nice features and 32Bit @ 192k plus a SPDIF for optical in/out. It has some very nice companion apps if installed via the ASUS ARMOURY Crate Utility. It has a very nice sounding Realtek package. BIOS. The BIOS of this motherboard is packed with features, many of which I am still yet to learn about. You have complete control to change almost every aspect you could ever need to customize for their needs. With the AMD CPU you can manipulate the Curve optimizer and have a say on how you want the power delivery to be applied. There is way to much to list here the number of features this motherboard supports is crazy, in a good way! This whole platform is very powerful and is a great match for the Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPU. I am Happy with this purchase and the Build I finally settled on is as follows: Spec's: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-E Gaming WiFI RAM: 32GB (16GBx2) Corsair Vengeance DDR5 EXPO_I 6000MHz @ CL30 (Soon to upgrade to 2x32GB Kit) GPU: RTX 3070 8GB Cooler: AIO Corsair H150/170 320mm iCUE .. (I forgot if its the 150/170?) NVMe: X2 WD SN850X [2TB] Crucial 4TB SSD SATA3. (Waiting for prices to drop for Gen5 before upgrade) Case: Corsair 5000D (Very nice case BTW!) PSU: Corsair AX1600i Hope this helps. Solid BUY!

Great motherboard for Ryzen 7000 CPUs and beyond
I wanted a motherboard that would last me through the whole of the AM5 socket so I could upgrade my CPU in a few years and not have to worry about the motherboard. While the Asus Strix X670E-E is a bit pricey it has all the features I could ask for. The VRM is overkill for 7000 CPUs so shouldn't have a problem for the last 16 core that AMD releases for the AM5 socket. It has PCIe 5.0 for both the GPU and multiple m.2 drives, enough USB ports on the I/O cover (13!), WIFI ... etc The two things that I appreciate the most are the POST code display and funnily enough the Q-release button. I have a large air cooler and the gap between the GPU and it is too small for my hand so I have to use a ruler to release the GPU from the PCIe slot. The Q-release button is one of those things you never knew you needed until you experienced it. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase.

Purchased 2, both bricked...
Edit: Purchased a MSi X870E Carbon. Works perfectly. TD;DR: Avoid this product. TWO DOA mobos + dead CMOS battery. Suspiciously available "used" on Amazon. Full review: Ordered this for a new build since it was the best rated mobo for my setup (Ryzen 7 9800X3D / RTX 5080) and from the moment I switched it on it threw up a "0d" q-code error. The first red flag was that the box was not sealed. I tried EVERY troubleshooting method possible after trawling the net, ASUS support and even reddit but the error persisted. I thought it may be bad luck and purchased another. The 2nd mobo worked, no "0d" error. Hooray! Then I updated the bios... and guess what? More error codes! I performed all the necessary checks and steps, this time the errors were "EC" and "C5", depending on what the motherboard decided it wanted to do on the moment I hit the power button. I returned both, thanks for Amazon for being so understanding. The second red flag is that you can purchase this mobo 'pre-owned' on the amazon store page... pre-owned??? No thanks!

Perfect future proof mainboard
Hard to decide which features one really needs, but good capacity for future upgrades and PCIe 5 support made it possible to take advantage of the features of this mainboard. Overkill vrm and more, but it's OK to have some headroom, sure. Why not? Even at x8 PCIe 5 ssd NVMe drives will exceed needs for the future, plus it looks sweet, nice ARGB design even though it's simply aesthetics, if it makes you feel better then you should pay for it, and then forget about it, it's how you feel when you turn on your pc and see the cool stuff

A lot of features but at a cost
This is a feature packed motherboard with a great aesthetic (if you like that kind of thing). Plenty of USB 3.2 ports - 13 on the rear alone. The screwless Q-latch system for NVME drives makes installation very simple. 5 fan headers which is great for minimizing the use of fan splitters/hubs. I would drop half a star for its PCIe/NVME config as even though this MB supports four M.2 NVME drives, if you populate slot 3 the primary PCIe x16 slot will run at 8x (just something some people may need to consider)

Seems good but…..
Very buggy, the board itself is stating that there is a memory error, however the system information and BIOS, seem to say everything is ok. A lot of features on this board, but probably better off going for the MSI equivalent.

Strong design, practical and functional
This is a great motherboard for the price you pay. Plenty of connectivity including 12 rear USB ports, 4 M.2 slots with a heatsink, overkill power delivery with 18+2 power stages, up to 6400 MHz RAM (OC) and more all complemented with ASUS's easy to use UEFI.

The most useful and beautiful mobo ever
The best motherboard for „cheap” workstations. Powerful vrm section, 3x pcie 5.0 m.2 drive work in raid with massive heatsinks, alteration mode, sata raid. Thunderbolt addin space.

Lots of PCIe 5 lanes for the future
The amount of PCIe 5 lanes this board offers is the reason I bought it despite the fact I don’t have and currently don’t plan to get any PCIe 5 devices but I was looking at the next 4 to 6 years with this board and probably 2 processor upgrades during that time. First thing I did was update the bios as Asus did have an issue with 7800x3d that could kill the cpu. I didn’t both to look at what version was on it out of the box I just updated it first thing. Another reason I bought this board is I like to overclock but the 7000 series doesn’t use a lot power so on AMD this is probably over kill in power delivery. One of the things I wasn’t aware of when I upgraded to AM5 is it doesn’t currently support 4 sticks of DDR5 running at there expo settings. At can’t get my 4X16 expo 6000mt sticks to even run at stock 3600mt but that is likely the ram sticks not being matched well even though they are the exact same sticks. I had initially accidentally ordered sticks meant for intel systems. When I had issues running 4 sticks of G.Skill trident x 5 AMD expo sticks (two no problem) I decided to see what would happen if I used the T-Force Delta RGB kit which had the same CL30 latency of the G-skill. They work at there rated XMP speed of 6000mt CL 30 with zero problems. I’m pretty sure that was just luck but I’m very happy with the results. It’s probably not worth the hassle to run 4 sticks simply for duel rank instead of single rank. It is a little faster but not noticeable under normal use but if your pushing the system why not but again this is NOT supported by AMD AM5 at the time of this writing so it may not work without spending money on different sets of memory until you get 4 sticks that will run the overclock setting. I have no complaints about this board and would buy it again if I was building another system.

Amazing Motherboard!
I'm very satisfied with the overall performance. It has lots of bells and whistles. I really like that it has many USB ports on the back panel. A little expensive but I've never been let down by an ASUS motherboard. Very satisfied.
