I have changed many many phone screens, batteries, charging ports and while the job never get easier (failing eyesight) the parts and the kits have become so much better. This kit it top shelf. from the layout card, the screwdrivers and the packaging, the instructions require a magnifying glass to read them but they are precise and easy to follow. If I ever need another kit for a screen replacement I would not hesitate at this one.

So, replaced the screen in my iPhone, did it very carefully and to exact instructions. Observations are as follows: 1, colours aren’t quite right, I have other iPhones to compare against so it’s not my imagination, the colours are definitely not quite as vivid. 2, Face ID no longer works, this is a real major pain in the arse and I’m not happy. 3, regularly when typing a text or a WhatsApp message the keyboard sticks. If I still had the packaging and could be bothered taking my phone apart again it would be going back!! All in all, not worth it, just take your iPhone back to the Apple Store and bite the bullet on the price!!
