This is amazing. I had a nine foot expensive curtain rod that was a dark bronze. Too expensive to change it out to the gold that i wanted. I took the long thick rod outside, stood it up and rubbed this in on Beautiful!!! It was easy and fun to apply. A little goes a long way. Easy to wash off if it gets in your hands, but do wear gloves. The color was perfect and not too bright. Have used this product in other items including candle sticks and nail heads that were black on my sofa. I wanted a more brass look. I applied this in the nail heads with a q tip. Again, transformative. You won’t be disappointed. I might try it next in my cabinet pulls. I want them black instead of stainless steel. Thankfully, this product comes in lots of colors.

I love this stuff, it can be used on almost anything to brighten and make things look nice. I made bells at Christmas and this made them look like metal when I was done. The smell is a little strong but not bad. I have rubbed this on picture frames to brighten the gold. Works well. Be careful not to get it on your fingers cause I did and it was hard to get off. Maybe good idea to use gloves.

Love how my project came out using Rubn’Buff (color: Gold Leaf)! I purchased knobs, pulls and hinges from Amazon that had different finishes. I wanted a more uniform look, so I bought this. In the pictures attached, the item on the left is the original color, and the item on the right is after applying Gold Leaf. The photo with all items is the finished product & the results speak for themselves! I used a mini makeup brush to apply, and a paper towel to buff. Lastly, as other reviewers mentioned, a little goes a long way.

Worked great on outdoor lamps! It's not perfect - I think I would have had to do more surface prep for perfection, but each lamp took 15 min, no taping, no removing of fixtures, and added life back to these lamps! Before and after photos attached!

Worked extremely well. I used it to change a polished nickle frame on a medicine cabinet gold. Looks great, works great, application is easy-peazy!

This stuff is great. Super easy to use. I found it best to just use my finger for application and it washes off pretty easily. I did however have a hard time on some of the fixtures I was applying it too. It would stick just fine and then suddenly in a few random spots it would not adhere to the surface. I would buy this again in other colors and use in future products.

Didn't work on metal as it suggested it will. Only works on wood or paint.
