This item for sale is a brand new genuine OEM multi-function Tachometer gauge. Yamaha PN: 6Y5-83570-A0-00 Review: Works great with a little effort for older outboards - I bought this for my 1993 85 2 stroke. It is the replacement for the original however the factory harness doesn’t match up so I had to use the old factory ends. It was pretty simple for me since I’m an electrician, it should be pretty easy for anyone to do it as well since the wires are the same color. About 10 minutes worth of work, some heat shrink and a little solder is all it takes. It doesn’t come with instructions so with a quick google search I learned how the dip switches needed to be in order for it to work. Review: Perfect replacement - It was the exact same gauge we had but new. Fit perfect and was easy to install. Great choice

I bought this tach for my new 2022 115 v max sho. Didn’t have a Yamaha or a tach on the boat so I had to the wiring harness also. Easy to install. It’s wire color to color. There are places on the web for illustrations. Highly recommend for Yamaha owners

Genuine OEM product for much less than retail.
OEM gauge and MUCH cheaper than retail at a marine dealership. Can't go wrong with this item. I installed it on a 2006 150 Yamaha 4 stroke.

Easy installation
The tachometer was very easy to install and works as expected. Yamaha does a good job of color coding their harness wiring making the unit plug and play.
