Overall, I think this is the best nail file set I’ve purchased…maybe ever!!I am really bad at doing my own nails but I never have enough money, nor can I ever justify spending it on manicures, when I’m also really hard on my hands!So, I do my best, even though I almost never paint them, to keep my nails somewhat neatly filed. They grow fast and wild-their “natural shape” is nothing but big! I like to keep them in a medium-long semi oval/semi-squared shape. They’re also pretty strong (hard) so I go through even “good” files quickly.I got these at the beginning of August and I’m still using the first file I took out! That is unheard of for me. They have a slightly different shape that I find more comfortable and easier to use than a more traditional popsicle-stick shaped file. Even though the one I’m using is getting a little soft in the middle, it’s still filing really well! There’s no need for me to switch to another file in the set. This one is best for my nails.The set comes with 3 files of varying coarseness and 3 thicker, more buffer-like files that also have more specific purposes.One of those is the finishing file, the one for “shine.” I have no idea how, but I just realized I’m missing that one! I’ll search every place I can think of because it’s worth it.The set is so simple-they aren’t made of metal, they’re eventually going to be too “bendy” to use but the file surface is SO sturdy! I’ll post a picture of the last file I was using for maybe 3 weeks before I got these.Especially for the price, the fact that I’m still using the same one over months, and my nails need pretty constant upkeep, is amazing. I’d say, this is perfect for someone like me, who needs to keep up at home but doesn’t want to waste money on something they ultimately won’t use, or that won’t last but a few weeks.I use this all the time, and it has paid for itself over and over at this point! Very happy with this very simple item!!

Male nail tech here and I adore these files. The price is inexpensive, so I grabbed them. Almost a no brainer.It's been awhile now since my purchase and wow, I wish they wear out so I could replace some. Lol.I attached pictures taken after 11 months.#Pros:- Huge value for the price, considering you get a whole collection. Good for both professional and home users.- Each nail file has a different color code on their side indicated different grits.- Instructions are clear. Keep the box that comes with, so you can refer later on.- The lower the number is the rougher the file.150 and 180 are what I use the most for both natural and acrylic nails. Don't hurt like the regular emery boards.240 is too fine for my taste. If you have weak nails, or hyper sensitive, use this board instead.- I have 8-13 customers a day, and for the past 11 months, only the 150 is worn out. No kidding. They last well for me.- If you apply gel polish and there's some bubble, use 100/180 with less force, or 200/280 with more force. It'll buff and smooth out any bubble before applying another coat of color/top coat.- Travel friendly pack. Nice to keep handy in your purse in case you have hang nails and they start grabbing your clothes.- 1000/4000 is to buff natural nails, achieve that high shine of a real manicure at home. I really need to bring this board home but I keep forgetting.#Cons:- The numbers on the files fade due to excessive usage.

Really useful nail file and buffer set. Having the different files and buffers means you can use the right one depending on what you’re doing, and they feel good quality. They’re easy to use and have worked really well for keeping my nails neat and smooth. A handy set to have at home.
