5 years later and I'm still very happy
I've had this frame for about 5.5 years now and it's still in great condition. It has been half taken apart (ie removed headboard) to move it and reassembled 3 times and it's still solid which for flat box furniture like this, it is very rare that it doesn't get wobbly after moving even one time. My only complaint is we occasionally stub our toes on the leg in the middle of the side. But the price was great and well worth the money overall. We are upgrading from queen to king soon and the first place I looked for a new frame was this company. I remember the set up for this piece was much easier than I was expecting. I remember pouring myself a glass of wine before hand to "prepare for war" and it actually turned into a pretty nice night in with wine and music while assembling this. I can't say I have fond memories of assembling any other furniture so I would definitely consider this an easier build and I was able to do it by myself as a woman in her early 20s at the time with a moderate knowledge of tools.

Bed is solid wood except for metal center supports; handsome, nice-looking and sturdy
Honestly? Really nice bed frame for the price. The only gripe I have with it is that the supporting legs under the middle of the bed are made of metal, not wood. But everything else is solid wood.I was a little nervous about buying this bed frame because 1) I was worried it might end up looking a little too old-fashioned, and 2) Before this one, I bought and ended up returning a black wooden Zinus bed frame (the Cottage Style Platform Bed with Headboard; do a search for it in Amazon's search bar) where those metal support legs, starting with the middle one, scraped up the hardwood floor in my room and ended up bending to the point that they were no longer totally vertical. I would like my security deposit back, thank you very much.Well first let me say this Rustic Style frame actually looks quite nice and handsome. Despite the price, it doesn't look cheap in any way. The headboard is a good height -- doesn't seem to tower over you like Zinus' black Cottage Style frame (although I was using a mattress that was 2" shorter when I had that frame) -- and this frame as a whole looks better to boot. It also feels very sturdy and solid. As for the three metal support legs running down the center, I bought stick-on square felt pads ("Evelots 120 Self Stick, Heavy Duty Felt Pads for Hard Surfaces, Assorted Sizes") to stick to the bottom of the middle support leg and I haven't had any issues with scraping so far; it slides across the hardwood floor instead of digging into it, and because it doesn't end up getting bent and causing the center bar it's attached to to dip (the one that runs from the head to the foot of the bed underneath the wooden slats), the other two metal supports also don't dip down and dig into the floor. Fingers crossed this is a solution that will work permanently. As far as putting it together, it took me a couple of hours, but I also had to take only one or two pieces at a time into my bedroom while I constructed it piece-by-piece, and was trying to stay quiet so I didn't bother my roommates. The instructions are relatively straightforward, and they have this handy numbering system-- each part is labeled with a number, and it's supposed to attach to another part with the same number, making it easy to know what goes where (the numbers are completely covered once the bed frame is finished so they'll never be visible).Anyway, to sum up-- I definitely recommend getting this frame. It feels so nice to have a nice, supportive 12" hybrid mattress on top of a solid, supportive, nice-looking platform frame like a freakin' adult, instead of sleeping on a mattress on the floor.Pro Tip: I've noticed this bed frame's price seems to fluctuate wildly on amazon at times (google "camelcamelcamel" and search for this bed frame and you'll see what I mean). Unless you really need a bed frame right now, if it's over $400, I might recommend waiting a few weeks or a month or two for the price to drop. I actually got mine through a third party seller on amazon, SleepRevolution, for about $290 at the time. Patience and/or diligence can really net you a good deal in this case.

Excellent quality all wood frame
We purchased this bed frame 2 years ago and I was very surprised at how well it's made. I originally purchased with the intention of upgrading to a better quality frame later. However, this all wood frame, including supports, was super easy to put together, is very, very sturdy and has held up way better than some of my high end furniture. I move it around often to vacuum under the bed and it has never felt like it was coming apart or working loose in any area. We own the king. Our expensive mattress is really heavy and this frame has held the mattress with no problems. I highly recommend this bed frame. I will be keeping this frame much longer than originally planned. Super happy with it!

Easy to assemble, but will it last?
We upgraded our queen size bed to a king. Our old bedframe had a folding metal frame (also the kind that does not require a box spring) attached to a headboard which was purchased separately. I chose this bed because the frame and headboard are both included and designed to be one unit. The bed arrived in a huge, very heavy box, which took two people to maneuver. The bed was very easy to assemble with two people--much easier than Ikea furniture! I think we assembled it in 1-2 hours (we kept getting distracted by the movie we were watching, so if you're more focused than we were, you can get it done lickety-split!). The parts of the bed were also packaged very nicely. One aspect that we loved was that all filler styrofoam was encased in plastic, so there were no styrofoam pieces floating everywhere. The bed also came with a rotating allen wrench, which doubled the speed of screwing in bolts. The slats are all connected via velcro strip, which aligns with velcro on the frame. Honestly, putting the slats on was probably the hardest part, just because we had to readjust a couple of times, which involves tearing the velcro apart and putting it back together--make sure you pay attention to which end goes where! My only concern is how long the frame will last before anything breaks. My husband seems to be more optimistic than I am, but I'm concerned about the design as the side rails are supported by bolts attached to the head and foot only--it's not as if the individual rails are supporting one another with additional framing, etc. Thus, it may last about as long as Ikea furniture does--I give it 4-6 years with DIY mending as needed. We added a mattress-in-a-box to the frame. The frame/slats seem to support the mattress well in lieu of a box spring, which is exactly what we wanted. So far, so good, and I would recommend to friends and family.
