Works exactly as advertised. Secured your camera to the strap just in case the main connection fails.

Easy to install. Does not get in the way. Provides a safety for the camera(s) in case the cross body strap screw comes loose from the camera.

It works! Worth the money
Have had this for awhile and it came in handy the other day. The Black Rapid strap screw had come loose (my fault) and the safety strap kept my camera and lens from hitting the ground. It does add a little more bulk and can get in the way but I was sure glad I had it.

Not Very Easy to Use
Very difficult to hook extra clip onto camera. The extra clip is required for the hooking mechanism to attach directly to the camera. Also, the strap itself is a bit too wide and thick. Overall, I would say it's cumbersome in comparison to others that I've used.

Essential For Camera Straps.
If you use a cross-body camera strap (e.g., Black Rapid, etc.), you MUST use a safety tether. Why do I say? I was not using one when my QD fixture gave way, and some $10,000 worth of camera and lens fell onto concrete, causing the lens to break off the camera mount. They were repaired, but it is SO much cheaper to buy this little bit of insurance. Be safe. Just get this.

Life saver. After my camera came unscrewed and fell. I ordered 3 of them. I feel more safer now with them on my strap and camera.

Works great, secure, very comfortable
Works great, secure, very comfortable. I do struggle a bit to switch between a tripod and the screw in eye bolt. I purchased an L bracket and put the eye bolt on the side, I’ll see how that works out.
