Ceva Feliway Plug-In Diffuser with 3 Refills, 48 mL

After determining my adult male cat, who began peeing outside his box around 10 years had no ailments, the vet recommended this product to ease anxiety. After about 3 months of refills, this has made no impact on his behavior unfortunately and he continues to go outside his box.

happy that i received exactly what is shown in pic (i was worried it would turn out to be the comfort zone version that i did not feel worked as well as the original feliway version we used in past that worked for us...plus i feel more confortable using the feliway diffusers since i know none have ever melted on us)..although this is not exactly the version of feliway that came in purple box without an actual real cat pic on it that i use to like, i will assume it is still the same, just with an updated packaging.. Price is a bit pricier for feliway these days, it was much cheaper back when so why only four stars!as for working for all problems, that all depends on the cat.. It calms most but, i feel the spray works best for ridding of reoccuring spraying problems in the same area (spraying areas to deter them) and some extra grumpy cats do much better with the calming collar (it was actually the only thing that worked with a calico female that became extremely mean to the rest of our cats about a month after getting spayed. about a week after the collar, she was no longer trying to kill everyone).PS: if you are trying to figure out which feliway to get, the current skinnier looking feliway diffusers have issues and will be discontinued so do not buy those or their refills (the refills will not fit into the round diffusers)

The diffuser works well enough. They say they should be changed after a month. Not sure why that is because the liquid is never fully used by that point and it's hard to tell if it is still effective over that amount of time. However it does help immediately and I can tell the difference for at least a week. I recommend this for short time use such as introducing a new pet into your home or when moving or any other big change/time of stress for your feline friend! Will continue to buy refills in the future as needed.

This product was highly recommended by our vet. Unfortunately it has a strong fragrance. Supposedly this product contains scent from cat's cheek glands which convey contentment and happiness. No cat of mine has ever given off such a strong, sweet, clearly artificial odor. I suppose the fragrance is added to let humans know the vaporizer is working, in the same way that "powerful" vacuum cleaners are deafening. Both are unnecessary sops to human naïveté. We maintain a fragrance-free house. Our cats are not so distressed that the humans need to put up with this assault. This product is unacceptable. We are sending it back.

After keeping this plugged in for 2 weeks, I noticed the liquid pheromone leaked out all over the unit and the unit itself was making a gross smell which I'm guessing was the liquid getting into the electrical outlet and possibly the beginning of my outlet burning . I replaced with a new cartridge and the smell came back immediately. Definitely a fire hazard and poorly constructed.

So far, so good. I have four indoor cats. Occasionally an outdoor cat will show up. That used to lead to my cats doing a lot of spraying in the house, and one cat kept urinating outside the litter box. Ceva Feliway has brought that unwanted activity way way down. Over time I have bought more diffusers and now have a diffuser in each room.

I have a legit ‘scaredy-cat’ it has been almost 2 months and she is starting to come around more and let me pat her - my Vet also advises me to keep up with the product.I will say though - I think it’s important that you use the CEVA brand.. I only gave 4 stars because it does not necessarily work for ALL cats - but if you see a good change - keep the product coming👍🏼Good luck🐾

I bought 2 sets since my house is so large and I have 8 cats. It has not affected my cats at all. They still scratch the furniture, one still wants to attack the other, one still pulls out his hair and no he is not sick. I can't even tell if the Diffusers are on, no light indicator. Have had them plugged in a week and no results. Terrible product that my Vet recommended due to one of my cats attacking the other for no reason. When I received the product its states on the side box of the vile, that it won't work with aggressive cats. I wonder if the Vet is getting a kickback from Feliway? Wasted $86 for a product that is worthless. Didn't even open the spray that came with the 3 pack deal they post under the one product. It's the same stuff, but in bottle form that you spray in a kennel, area they scratch or pet port, but it states lasts for only 4 hours and have to respray. Don't waste your money on Feliway!
