Having used a number of screen protectors over the years across multiple iPhones, I've tried everything from basic tempered glass to various privacy filters so I came to the ESR Privacy Screen Protector with fairly high expectations and a good sense of what to look for. After more than a month of daily use on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, I can say this is the best privacy screen protector I've come across. The glass provides full coverage across the screen with no gaps at the edges, which is exactly what you want partial coverage always bothered me with previous protectors. The privacy filter does what it promises: block viewing angles, so anyone beside you genuinely can't read your screen in most situations. One thing I appreciated is that the privacy tint doesn't come at the cost of screen quality. The iPhone's display still looks crisp and vivid when you're looking at it straight on colours, sharpness, and brightness all hold up well. Face ID also works without any issues, which isn't always a given with third-party glass. The one area I'd like to see improved is the tightness of the viewing angle. At full brightness, there's still a slight amount of screen visibility from the side not enough to read anything comfortably, but noticeable. If the filter cut off a few degrees tighter, the privacy protection would be near-perfect. Anleitung gut, Montage problemlos und blasenfrei. Blickschutz hatte ich stärker erwartet, aber meine Erwartungen können auch überzogen sein, ist das erste Mal das ich so eine Folie einsetze, bisher habe ich nur „Panzerglas“ verwendet.
