Stellar Lighting Kit with a Couple of Tweaks to Go
I recently had the pleasure of using the Photography Lighting Kit for a small project, and I'm impressed! The 5600K LED lights provide a soft, natural light that's perfect for tabletop photography. The adjustable tripod stand is a great addition, making it easy to position the lights just so. And the color filters are a nice touch, allowing for some creative control over the final look. Overall, I'm thrilled with the kit's performance. If I have any gripes, it's that the on/off switch can be a bit finicky, and the carrying case could be more secure. However, these are minor in an otherwise excellent kit. At this price point, I think it's a great value, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile lighting solution.

A great addition to help stage that perfect photo.
Great set of LED photo lights that we use when staging our custom photo Christmas cards. We have used them for two years now and they are wonderful. They are very easy to use. With the adjustable height, and variable lighting intensity they are very versatile for close up and at a distance to remove shadows. Using these lights has made taking photos much easier and eliminated the need to adjust a photo that normally would have been a bit dark or had a dark spot. They are a great size compact and fit back in their box.

Read This First if You Want to Integrate Them into a Smart Setup
These are alright for the price, but there is one key power function that I wish I knew ahead of time, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them. Even though these lights aren't smart-enabled themselves, my intention was to power them via smart plugs so they could be turned off/on using a StreamDeck control alongside the rest of my studio lights. This works in theory, but unfortunately the on/off switch on these lights is a button, not a static rocker switch, so if power is cut by turning off the smart plug they're connected to, their default mode when power is restored is the "off" setting regardless of what the setting was before the power was cut. Basically, there's no avoiding a manual press of the individual on/off switches every time you want to use them. I know I shouldn't be surprised by the lack of robust features at this price point, and it's my own fault for not fully researching for a product that will restore to the previously used setting if the power source is cut and then restored, but I thought I would point this out in case anyone else was thinking of trying to use them this way too... your best bet is a light with a fixed rocker switch, or one that specifically allows restoration of the previous setting if power is cut. The more you know 💫

Feel and look like a Pro!
Want to feel and look like like true “iPhone” semiprofessional photographer, then this set up is a must. Incredibly easy to set up, even easier to change the color panels.Tranporting was a breeze. Folds up so you can carry all three in one arm; even if your arm or body is not in shape.I have taken some great photos of my OnlyFans wife with these. Have also used them to take interior photos of my kids and their friends.I feel and look like pro! Just buy it, today.

Bright but...
When i was offered a set of these lights to do a review I was excited to try them since they looked to fill some gaps for me especially around portability. The included light stands are basic 3 1/2ft stands with small (16in) footprint, plenty for these lights alone inside but not much leg to put a sandbag on or reach if you're not setting on a table or desk. The stands are more of a bonus anyway though and I can always use more so a nice inclusion even if 7ft stands would have been a great inclusion. The stand adapter is disappointing it's a small ball-head that screws into the 1/4-20 mount of the light but it mounts to the stand via 1/4-20 as well not slipping over the stud. its strong enough to hold the light in place but makes mounting the light a pain since the chord of the light inevitably wraps around the stand while screwing the head on and then needs to be untangled. Not a huge problem but annoying enough to mention since I'll definitely be looking at a different option. The included color gels mount into specific slots of the light housing, they can be used for special effects or as a helpful learning tool. The included white diffuser helps but doesn't eliminate multiple shadows form the separate LEDs up close, I'll be cutting my own from translum as well as some specific color correction filters to match tungsten.by far the most important aspect of these is the light themselves. They are very bright and in limited tests the color quality and spectrum looks good so far. I haven't done a full color check test because unfortunately these lights do have a flaw that will keep them out of frequent use in studio or on location. The lights use Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) for dimming and it is not completely absent at 100% brightness. PWM is what causes the flicker in video under florescent (and increasingly LED) lights. It is major factor why certain headlights (or even flashlights) bother you more than others and should not be a commonplace circuit in the lighting industry. Eyestrain form PWN is an increasing issue for me and my clients, it's completely debilitating to people with certain disabilities or visual spectrums and could very easily be replaced by countless other non-flickering dimming methods. The PWM on these is fast enough most people won't consciously see and it is unlikely to interfere with most photographic applications people are buying these for but it will still have effects especially with high use and is something everyone should consider with all of their devices to protect their eye & numerological health.
