This cat box was more than expected! I was having issues with one of my cats 💩 outside of the cat box on a regular. Since receiving this I have had no 💩 issues. Complete life changer!! If you are thinking about purchasing this please do not hesitate. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have older cats and this step helps them get into the box easier. I'm also impressed with the automated litter box too.

OK, so the litter box itself is big; this makes it REALLY big!! At first, when my kitty was getting used to it I thought it was super necessary. 2.5 months in, not so much. At first he would sit on this step / ramp and watch the litter box do its thing. It was also helpful for him getting used to the box... I think it made it less intimidating. Now he can bypass it, especially when he leaves the box... its like he's been shot out a canon! Not sure why he propels himself out? If you want it for the sole purpose of storage for the extra bags def save your money bc they will be covered in excess litter. The step DEFINITELY is great for catching access, unless your cat does what mine does. It still catches a good amount of litter, but not all. If it were a lower price point I'd have given it 5 stars. Super expensive for what it is.

Bought this a few years ago with the littler box. It keeps the litter tracking to a nonexistent ratio! My cat can get in and out of the box easier, and it comes apart for cleaning. You can also stick one of the order but eliminators inside to save space.
