I have not installed it yet but seems of standard brass ball valve quality. Turns tight and stiff which is a good sign. Before I bought this I couldn't find any meaningful dimensions besides that it's 1/2" IPS. So, I hope this helps someone: 3" from center of valve to face of chrome extension. The minimum amount of space between the valve and the inside of the key port would be 2-5/16". You can unscrew the chrome piece to get more space with still a couple threads screwed on and that would give you maximum 3-1/8" of space between valve and inside of key port. In other words, the wall thickness that this valve is penetrating. Trying to describe that as easy as possible, sorry if confusing. Attached photos with tape measure for visual.
