great sounding mic, heavy quality build and comes with detachable cord! Whats not to like?
This thing delivers. I was not expecting much from a 25.00 mic and cable but after doing some research on youtube etc, this mic seemed to hold up to ones 4 times the price as far as sound quality goes. I got it for our wedding because It was cheaper to play our own music and I hate wedding DJ's cheasyness...So this was a chance I thought I would take (quality vs cost being high to low I was expecting it to fall apart shortly but this is not the case. I am going to use it for a PC gaming mic once the wedding is finished. Better than any other PC mic on the market IMO)

Great Mic...Lousy Packaging
The mic works great (wish I had a better voice), the only complaint is the case was cracked and the latch broken during shipping. Otherwise, the sound reproduction is spot on via a Fender Acoustasonic 90.

On the box it says "excellent reproduction of voice and Miusic, A true sign of a Quality company.
On the box it says "excellent reproduction of voice and Miusic, Literally spelled that way on the box. A true sign of a Quality company. This Microphone Barley worked, I'd plug it in to a mixer and a recorder, All I got was pops cracks and sound so bad as if it came from a 1950's communication device. If your looking for a good mic for recording voices and music, hit the back button NOW!

Great Mic!
I am purchasing my third Hisonic HS800. The first one failed only because I twisted the cord a few too many times. The sound quality is great compared to cheaper mics I have owned...constructed to last. . This also has levels of volume that can be increased right there on the side of the handle as well as an on/off switch. Just a great mic for an awesome price!!

Works On Windows --- if you tweak some settings
Let me just tell you that this microphone is not meant to be used on a computer, so the fact that it works clearly on my Windows 7 PC using audacity is pretty great in it's own right. With that being said, don't be surprised if these procedures don't work for you. The issue I have is that the mic is VERY quiet even on the max settings...well I sorta found a work around. To get it to work on a Windows 7 Computer (I'm assuming Windows 8 will work as well, not sure about Vista or XP):1. You need a 1/4" to 1/8" Adapter (also called 6.5mm to 3.5mm). Amazon sells them for under $10. I am using the Hosa MHE100.5 Right Angle 1/4" to 3.5mm Headphone Adapter/Extension:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000068O6B/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=12. Make sure the mic is connected through the motherboard I/O ports on the REAR panel and not at the FRONT panel. You will need get enough juice to power up your mic completely using the front.3. Make sure your mic is detected in Windows and Audacity. It will be VERY quiet at first because it is not inherent to a computer. That's fine -- that's what we are trying to fix.4. Go to the bottom right of your computer and find the sound icon. Right click and go to Recording Devices. Find the microphone (on my PC, it's just says "Microphone"). Right click on it and press properties. This is where it deviates. Some computers will have a tab that says "Custom". If you do, click on that and check the "Mic Boost" box. If you do not, you should have a tab that says "Levels". Click that and find the "Microphone Boost" Slider. Turn it all the to +30 dB. Click Apply, Done, and then exit.5. Now, on the front of the mic there should be 3 knobs that control the volume. 3 = LOWEST and 1 = HIGHEST (weird I know). Make sure it is on 1. Now restart your PC with the mic PLUGGED IN. Do not unplug it.6. Once it is back up running, open audacity and make sure your microphone is picked. Leave the settings at Mono Input (Stereo Input makes the mic only playback in the left ear). You should be ready to go!!Sound Quality:It's great for $15 ($21 if you include the adapter). Noise removal could be better but you can't complain for the price. It's super warm and bright as a forewarning...that doesn't ruin the sound quality, but that contour may not be to everyone's taste. Definitely recommend. :)

Nothing to complain
I bought this for my little karaoke system in my apartment. It works great. Nice and loud sound. Cancels quite a bit of noise. Easy to adjust volume thanks to the volume switch on the mic. In general, no complaints at all.
