This is a very tasty product.
I drink this every morning. I was skeptical at first but I really do enjoy it and it's part of my routine now.

Excited about Kamut
I'm always up to try "green" powders and pleased to have the opportunity to try out this one. This contains the standard barley, spirulina and chlorella found in just about any health drink mix. What really sets this one apart, in my opinion, is the addition of kamut grass (and #1 ingredient at that). I can't even recall seeing any kamut included in similar powders at the local big grocery stores. I'm surprised the seller hasn't prominently promoted kamut's benefits (more on that below).Company: Geri G Beauty is a lifestyle brand founded by master esthetician/skin expert, certified nutritional coach and holistic health practitioner nutritional coach Geri Giagnorio in Franklin, TN.Packaging: Came outer shrink-wrapped sealed plus an interior paper/foil lid. There is a dessicant pack inside to keep the powder fresh. It includes a plastic scoop though you may have to dig for it (mine was buried at the bottom).Smell: Strong earthy scent as is common with any grass like wheat, alfalfa, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary here.Mixing: I use a small handheld submersion mixer and it whipped up fine creating a nice little foam top. I also made a glass stirring with just a spoon and found it mixed equally as easily. I should think adding it into a shaker bottle would be just as effective for those on the go. I had no issues with clumps--this powder is a nice quality sift.Taste: With taste being so subjective, you can take this as you like. I find most green drinks have more of an "acquired" taste. I can easily eat alfalfa and wheat grass so I am not unfamiliar with "grassy" flavors. This one was not palatable to me per the suggested serving ratio. I read the other reviews and seeing it had lemon and stevia added I was expecting a fairly pleasant drink. At the very least a flavor I could handle. I did not detect any lemon flavor. With 1 scoop to 8oz of water, I found this very strong and also a type of aftertaste I could not identify. I think perhaps it may be the stevia but I have not consumed stevia in other products so I can't say for sure. However, I feared I would have to force myself to drink it unless I could tame it down. Definitely not a sit and sip for pleasure type at full dose. I experimented and found a half scoop to 8oz water is sufficient enough to dilute the flavor to my taste. If you find you need a even more mellow flavor, you can add juice to the 1/2scoop + 8oz water (I added some Tropicana Caribbean Sunset juice and it was certainly easy to drink). Though it says best consumed on empty stomach, I also added a 1/2scoop into a smoothie (1/2 banana + almond milk + organic cocoa powder) and it made a very pleasant, enjoyable beverage.Pricing: More expensive than alternatives but it does include kamut which I found 3.2oz for $33. This Geri G mix seems within an appropriate range. If you figure one (full scoop) serving is about $2.30, you'd pay much more for a starbucks coffee or a soda from a convenience store and most people don't blink at that. This is a better nutritional value than either of those options. Would like to know the ratio of kamut to barley, though.Pros:--Kamut grass (I rarely see this ingredient): an ancient grain, easily digestible, high fiber, more nutritious than common wheat, supports bone health, dextoxifies, high protein, sometimes referred to as nature's multivitamin + more--Organic ingredients--Non GMO--No refined or artificial sugar--Enzymes--No fillers--Vegan--Kosher--Made in USA--Recyclable container--Website says products are cruelty freeCons:--Potentially too expensive for some--Strong taste but can be altered to suit your liking--Small containerOverall. I think this is an excellent "green" powder. It is on the pricey side, though, and you only get 15 servings per jar using the 1 scoop recommendation. That's roughly $70 for a month's supply for 1 person at current pricing. You can do the 1/2 scoop per day and it comes to $34.50 per month for 1 person. If you are on a budget, there are cheaper alternatives and you'll get barley, wheatgrass, spirulina, chlorella, maybe probiotics and maybe enzymes depending on brand. However, you won't get kamut. You'll have to decide if these factors justify the price.

The Michael Jordan Of Green Drinks
For anyone reading this with a gluten allergy or sensitivity or you're just flat out Celiac and wondering if this is gluten free because of the Barley Grass, the answer is yes! Yes, it is gluten free. I asked the question before getting a tub and the brand answered in about five minutes which is nutsMy wife and I have tried a LOT of green drinks in the past. The benefits of a greens drink would turn into a novel but in a nutshell, they're super good for you. Thing is a lot of brands seem to either include a little bit of everything under the sun so you wind up with just minimal benefits from each, or they just a few things but then have to add something artificial to it and ruin it allThis brand includes just a handful of ingredients but each is an absolute whopping powerhouse of nutrients with a long-enough list of benefits attached to each I think adding to it might weaken their effectiveness. It dissolves really well, goes from a fine (super fine), powder into a dark, jade-ish rich looking liquid that looks like a magic potionOne sip and my wife went nuts. She ran away with the glass telling me to make my own. It really does taste THAT good. Less like the usual sweetener-laced mishmash of everything that's colored green and more like something that's actually working to help boost healthIt's mouthwatering, packed with goodness and you can tell from the ingredients it was formulated with a lot of thought and not just "Let's put green stuffs in it, yay, green drink!"11/10 hands down phenomenal

15 servings. Organic. Deep rich green color smells fresh. Good flavor.
This is actually pretty darn good - for a strong green tasting drink mix. I'm very pleased with the ingredients and feel I can trust this product/brand to have actually made a healthy greens powder that is good for you. There is of course that strong - yet still pleasant - greens taste, with some mint in there to help ease its powerful flavor. I can mix this and drink it down, without any issues and not weird or negative aftertastes. No side effects, no headache, no stomach upset - just a nice quick way to get those daily greens without having to chew and chew and chew. Or if you're in a hurry and don't have time to make greens and eat them. Totally doable as a daily morning shot.I switch between this, and the Thron brand greens power, as it has other ingredients that I also want to include in my system, just not daily (it's a much stronger tasting mix, but still good, has a little heat in it with some ginger in there - this does not have that, so no ginger burn).May seen a bit expensive for just 15 servings - but to make this out of all organic fresh produce, it would cost ya more, and I don't have to do all that work and sourcing - just mix and drink. Works for me.

Good Ingredients, Seems Healthy, Definite "Green" Taste, Has Notes of Stevia
If you want to be able to drink your greens, like the ingredients of this and believe it will improve your health or well being in some way, this seems like a pretty good product. For about $2.00 per serving you get this powder to mix with water. When stirred with a spoon or something like that it does clump up a bit. Making it in a shaker or blender would probably be best if you don't want go get an wet clumps of this powder in your mouth as you drink it.It definitely has a "green" taste to it. It has notes of Stevia too. I with they would have used some other sweetener like monk fruit or something like that. The overall taste is green with a mildly sweet Stevia flavor.I'd call this about average in taste and price compared to similar products. I'm not an expert in evaluating the ingredients but the ingredients of this look fairly similar to other products.
