Lisle 39400 Angled Disconnect Tool Set

This is a quality brand name tool I've used in the past. Saw several videos suggesting to ONLY buy aluminum tools but I only needed to use one time to replace a bad in-tank pump. They worked perfectly, no signs of damage or being unable to repeat the process many times. For the cost I got a brand name tool, a carrier, enough sizes to fit probably any future possible needs and all at a very reasonable cost. I should mention they worked well (though I did shoot some WD40 into each line prior to attempting removal to flush any dirt and lubricate the process too) If I were a pro I'd spend more and get metal tools, however just because I'd expect longer life.

Works great to remove diesel fuel line connectors.

Quickly used this set at work to disconnect fuel lines without any hassle. it feels sturdy and comes with different sizes, so I always have what i need. saved me a lot of time and frustration. 😊 very pleased with the quality and how easy it is to handle. definitely a good addition to my toolkit!

Works pretty good, sometimes they don't on stuck fittings. Not too bad for cheap plastic tools.

This was cheaper than bluepoint’s and from comparing it with my buddy’s it’s the same thing and same quality but cheaper. I’d prefer this over bluepoints

I own a 2006 F150 5.4L V8, a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L V6, and a 67 Mustang with a 302 and I use this set on all three vehicles. I'm also the default neighborhood mechanic, so I've also used it on a 98 Accord, an 87 Escort Wagon, and a 2008 Ford F-150. Great for replacing my fuel filter and for removing A/C lines when putting in a new compressor. My kit included the following -Six quick Disconnect Tools in sizes 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 7/8". These were the standard colored plastic ones found in the Lisle39400 set -Six A/C & Fuel Line Disconnect Tool Set in sizes: 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 7/8" (5/16" fits Ford push lock connectors found radiators and transmission lines) These were the standard white plastic discs found in the Lisle 37000 set -1 Transmission Oil Cooler Line Disconnect Tool (2 sided 3/8" and 1/2" combo) Similar to the Lisle 39960 kit only combined into one wrench -Fuel Module Disconnect which works on both 3/8" and 5/16" 98 and Later GM Full Size Pickups, Suburban and Tahoes. This is a 2-piece tool similar to the Lisle 37500 -Low Profile Fuel Line Disconnect Set with 3/8" and 5/16" adapters. Exactly what I needed

Pulling your dash to fix heater core? Needing to disconnect all those quick snap locking hoses you never could disconnect without cutting and destroying in the process? Tell you what, you don't need to spend a bunch of money on aluminum ones, or single diameter tool. This rack of many different sizes is so simple and works so good you won't believe it. simply slide the ring behind the hose you want to disconnect and push/pull it into the quick release collar of the hose and Volia'! Hose is off! Easy, Quick, clean disconnect. All sorts of sizes with this set and has been everything I have needed to do Heater core hoses, HVAC hoses, any hose with a quick lock collar you will be able to remove with ease. Great addition to your shop tool box that I wish I would have discovered years ago. These would have saved me a lot of headaches over the years. Now you can get them cheap and easy in this set. I had no idea they would work so well. The plastic slides along the hoses and into the lock collar easy and then just push in to disconnect the tabs and the hoses release.
