These work perfectly, are are easy to install, last for years--
--and you should always keep a new one on-hand for when, years later, it needs to be replaced. You don't want to have to wait to get one when you need it, and you definitely don't want to pay a plumber for a simple replacement job like this. So if you're buying one now to install now, buy a second for when you need it years later. They don't deteriorate in the package over time.

The Best Flapper
This flapper works very well. It fits the standard size tank, and is made of soft rubber which works the best. The soft rubber seals better than the hard plastic flappers. This flapper hooks on better and will not break the posts in the bottom of the tank. The clip will stay on the chain and not come off when using the handle. It may look like the bottom of the flapper is bent, however that is only when it is in the package. It is soft and will go into shape when you take it out of the package. You do not have to turn off the water to put it on or take it off. I use bleach tabs and get 2 years out of each flapper. I have used many flappers over the years and this brand works the best.

I can depend on Korky products.
These Korky toilet flappers are dependable because the are made from "Chlorazone" rubber which resists attack by chlorine in your water so they stay flexible, seal well and last a long time. I buy the 2 or 3 pack and change all my toilets at the same time.

A truly quality product
15 years ago, I bought a Korky flap for my toilet because I was tired of buying a new one every year or two. The Korky had a 5 year guarantee. It lasted 15 years. I was delighted to find the same product on Amazon with the exact same model number, AND at a cheaper price than what I paid 15 years ago!

Solved my 2 running toilet problems with an extra spare left over.
Easy to install. I don't know why I waited weeks to fix them. If you can change a light bulb you can install these. My old ones had hardened up and had lost the seal. Constantly jiggling the handle to get it to stop. Put these guys in and "voila" problem solved. Just give the ring these sit on a quick rub to remove any mineral build up. Install the new part and adjust the chain. Test flush. All done. if the chain has too much slack it might interfere with the flapper. You might have to shorten it.

Says universal but didnt fit my Kohler
These are supposed to be universal pre 2001 2 inch flappers. It didnt fit my Kohler. I returned it and bought Kohler GP83064 flapper and it fit perfectly.

A quick solution to most toilet slow leak problems...
There is not much variety in this type of product; it must adhere to the design constraints or it won't function. This particular one, with free shipping, was a godsend as I needed one and didn't feel like making a large order just to get free shipping. Some helpful notes: Measure the old chain's length(if it was proper, i.e. allowed some slack) and make this new one that length, plus one link extra. The proper way is to turn off the water supply, flush and then install the new one. Remove the old hook on the flush lever holding the top of the chain, quickly swap the flapper(you'll lose a little water for a few seconds), then with the new one in place, put its rubber arms into the slot and finally hook its new chain to the flush lever arm(in the same slot as before) and you will have done it without fuss. If you don't have confidence, of course, get someone to help, go online for a guide, or call the plumber for $100...Footnote: the 'machinery' of the toilet is delicate, if simple, and has to be handled with care. There's an old saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I would recommend caution even with something this simple.

Perfect!
Our original flapper tether busted, so, pressure's on to fix this absolutely necessary household fixture! Taxi to hardware store, and back? Wait, try Amazon, speed up the delivery a bit, and hope for the best. We are pleased to say that this made in the US product was fine, and installation performed by THE lady of the house was flawless. Tank interior shows wear of other components, so we'll repeat the process using other slick Korky products. $CAN 8.0 ea. 2017, two for $23.0 2022.

Bingo
Who knew there would be so many flappers on the market? Went to local hardware store and nothing they had resembled the one I needed (took picture with phone to compare) so I resorted to the Internet. It's a basement toilet, used only occasionally so I wanted something inexpensive. I knew I needed a rubber flapper (the drain opening has a plastic ring so rubber was important). The opening is 2 inches wide. There isn't any brand name on the mechanism nor the toilet, so a universal one should work. And it's good the description of this one mentions chlorine resistance as I sometimes use bleach to clean the tank since it's only used once in a while and mildew loves the dark, dank...tank. And, best of all, I could still make out "Korky" on top of old flapper that pretty much disintegrated over the years, so I figured this must be the one (it was hard to tell mostly because the old one pretty much fell apart in my hand). And, since the old one was a Korky, all I needed to do was use the chain off the old one and attach to this one. Voila, good to go for another number of years! I forgot to mention, this was on other half's "honey-do" list for ages, and I got tired of waiting so I just did it myself. Feels good to know I can figure this stuff out on my own LOL

Fits just as well as other flappers, material seems good quality
I haven't had this for long enough to say whether it will warp or leak when using bleach pucks in the tank, but I can say the rubber definitely has a different feel and finish to it, so it seems like it will stand up well to bleach in the tank. It fits just as well as regular flappers and is just about the same price so I'm happy with it so far.
