Very sturdy and works very well
I have used the powertec caster system on the woodworking workbench I made couple of years back. It was worked quite well and my workbench is relatively heavy duty with a heavy 10 inch vise. I needed to replace some cheap casters on my dewalt planer stand. This need not have to be as heavy duty I suppose but the fact that I already had the powertec system meant that I could buy these and jist use the same set of existing caster wheels for both. It was super simple to install and works perfect.

Choose your casters wisely
They don't work with Ron Lapp workbench casters. The caster plate is too small so the wheels flip sideways when you try to roll with any weight on them.. these plates are very solid though and I am going to try to find a piece of metal filler to put in there and see if it helps. I'm thinking you're supposed to buy the same name brand casters

Fasteners for this product is confusing.
Bought these as part of some Powertec quick-release casters, assuming that these would work on large wood legs. What I received had flat-head bolts (actually small enough to call them "screws") and nuts that would NOT work for the wood posts, so now I cannot utilize them until I find flat-head sheet-metal, or wood screws large enough to fit the LARGE countersunk holes in these plates. Had they used that kind of screw, as is used on all the other parts that I received (casters, leg levers, etc), I could have used them today.

I like that you can buy these separately from the casters
These caster sets are great. Put the hardware on all your tables, then keep a few sets of wheels to put on them if they ever need to be moved.

Need to know what casters they work with.
The base of the workbench casters are of different sizes. These work with one set I have but not the other one. The dimensions would have been very helpful.

Casters ordered and installed did not work as advertised.
I am not pleased with the product. The order description for the workbench caster WC005-900 is confusing. It was unclear if the product came with a backer plate (Mode 2 installation) used to temporary mount the casters. So I ordered the backer plates separately from the casters. Then both packages arrived containing backer plates. This was a waste of time and money. Next after evaluating the items the counter sunk bolts are to short which was problematic and not allowing me to use the backer plates. Local stores did not carry replacement counter sunk bolts in the correct length so I used the alternate Mode 1 option. Next I mounted the casters with the screws provided in Mode 1 installation per the extremely small printed instructions provided. It took multiple attempts to mount the casters per Mode 1 and in the end it was a failure. The rollability did not work because the casters had to be in a certain position, per a clue on a YouTube video. I was meticulous in following the instructions to provide for the correct mounting height. Regardless the wheels spun out and the mobility to freely move the work station did not work as advertised. I was very disappointed in Amazons product description, the installation instructions and the overall performance. I do not recommend this product from Pacecare: SKU-SPWC005-900. I never used the other backer plates that were ordered separately.

These work with the SPACECARE Workbench Casters kit
I purchased these along with the 900lb. capacity SPACECARE Workbench Casters kit. My intention was to install these on my existing drill press stand now, and later, attach the Spacecare brand mounting plates and casters on my new larger workbench which is currently in the planning & execution phase. I was very concered about them matching the geometry of the casters since I wanted to buy only one set of casters for multiple stands. These POWERTEC 71132V Quick-Release Workbench Caster Plates worked perfectly with the SPACECARE Workbench Casters. Since my workspace is an older single car garage, it's necessary to move things around occassionally - depending on the project at hand - while much of the time, equipment needs to remain SOLIDLY in a designated work station location. It's great to be able to set the stand down on the floor, insert shims to accomodate the uneveness of the concrete slab, and remove the casters so they're out of the way from my clumsy feet finding them at inappropriate moments. I forgot to mention: the attachment bolts supplied for this mounting plate are designed as through bolts with nuts & washers for 1-1/2" stock. The package included extra bolts, however, some of the bolts were metric & some were standard 1/4x20 bolts, and all the nuts were 1/4x20. Unfortunately, there were not 8 matching pairs needed to mount all 4 plates. My particular installation (on an existing cabinet with drawers & a recessed toe-kick) was not for 1-1/2" material, so I had to purchase different fasterners anyway. If you purchase these mounting plates, plan on having to purchase your own fasteners, because the bolts supplied may be mismatched or different than your needs.

Lets you use one set of casters on multiple pieces
I mounted a set on my workbench and my outfeed table so I can drop the same set of casters in either piece. These brackets are sturdy and well made, and they are super easy to install.

This works great with the set of wheels. Needs 1 set of wheels to move multiple pieces of equipment by using these brackets.
