2015 Malibu latch
Happy with it so far. The guts came out of the old one on my 2015 Malibu. Upon further inspection the original GM part is a piece of junk almost designed to fail. This one is hands down better. Does not come with the emergency handle, and there is no way to attach the old one. That doesn't bother me at all. Easy to install, take the trunk liner partially off, remove that inside handle. (9/32 socket) Once the latch is exposed, remove the two torx bolts, slide it back and it will come off the hangers. One wiring harness that comes off with the press of a tiny flat blade screwdriver. Took me 20 min or so. I will update this review if it gives me any grief.

Works as good as the $199 factory part
Works great as the Original one from factory ! For a lot cheaper , I went to auto one and for the same part it was ganna cost me $199 , got it from here and I haven’t had any issues with my trunk since !

Put it on my 2015 Chevy Cruze LTZ and it works perfectly.

Inexpensive way to fix trunk latch
Not real easy to install, but not too tough either. It took me a bit longer to do the work than I originally expected, but the new trunk latch is working great so far.

Lifesaver
My trunk had stopped opening with the keypad or the button. It made the click noise but no movement. I had to climb through backseat to get open. Husband ordered this and installed within minutes and worked ever since. It's been atleast a few months.
