This would be the third time I've ordered the (black/gold) Puma Contender backpack in the past three or four years. However, this time, unfortunately, I was sent a (metallic blue/black) backpack. Fortunately, during the course of my purchasing from LOTSGALORE, this was the first time that this has happened. I reached out to the customer service staff, whom were prompt and courtesy. Many customer service representatives aren't as understanding and are very curt with you. I explained my situation and informed the individual I spoke with that (I had already removed the tag) from the backpack. I knew, unfortunately that this rendered a return, not possible. I suspect that I wasn't really interested in a refund as much as I was interested in allowing the business to know that they had sent me the incorrect item. Nevertheless, I and the customer service rep messaged back and forth over the course of two days. I explained that there wasn't anything wrong with the pack and after realizing, 'it's not really a big deal', that I would just keep it. I'm sure LOTSGALORE however, is aware now just to double check before any shipment leaves their warehouse. After all, nobody wants mistakes when they make a purchase. Perhaps the next customer might not be as understanding or patient. The individual I spoke with was patient, respectful and professional. They offered me a half refund. Which was completely fine. Other than this small issue, there's a reason I have purchased from LOTSGALORE three or four times already, because I love the Puma Contender Backpack and, this business is really the only one both on the Internet and in-stores that I can find this particular backpack, under $30. It's comfortable and sturdy. I always use mine when I go out both bicycling and on my sport bike. It's roomy just enough not to be too bulky. It doesn't slide around and the shoulder straps can be tightened without causing shoulder stress. Excellent product overall. But, even better Customer Service Representation. This is why, particularly, I gave 5-stars. A+

This backpack is seriously tough and looks amazing. My son has put it through a lot, and it still holds up like new. The quality is outstanding, making it a fantastic investment for everyday use. Plus, the design is super chic and versatile. Definitely recommend this one if you need something reliable and stylish!

This Puma Evercat Contender backpack is a really good everyday bag, just not completely perfect, so I’d give it 4 stars. The design looks clean enough for school or work, and it’s big without feeling huge on the back. The main compartment has plenty of room for books, gym clothes or a light jacket, and the built‑in laptop sleeve holds a standard laptop securely without sliding around. The extra pockets and front organizer make it easy to separate smaller stuff like chargers, pens and keys so they don’t all sink to the bottom. The two side water‑bottle pockets are super handy and actually usable, not just decorative like on some cheaper bags. Comfort wise, the straps are adjustable and shaped well, so even when it’s pretty loaded it doesn’t dig into the shoulders too much. The material feels durable enough for everyday use and some light rain, and the bag keeps its shape nicely thanks to the structured piping. It also wipes clean pretty easy, which is nice if you’re using it for commuting or kids. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is mostly around long‑term durability and organization. A few other buyers mentioned concerns about the zippers and fabric holding up for more than one heavy school year, and after seeing it in person, the zippers feel okay but not super heavy‑duty, so time will tell. Also, while the storage space is good, an extra internal pocket or two would make it even better for people carrying lots of small items. Overall, it’s a stylish, comfy, and reasonably tough backpack that works well for school, gym, and basic travel. If you need something affordable with good space and a laptop compartment, this is a strong choice, just don’t expect it to be indestructible forever.

Very sturdy with plenty of pockets

Had this thing for a couple years or so now. It's held up really good. You gotta wash it occasionally, being the light colour that it is. No rips or tears. No fading of the orange logo, which is a rubbery, durable feeling material. All or the zippers are zippering. I really like orange and grey as a colour combo too. It's a very standard, very basic backpack. A large main pouch with an inside pocket for laptops. A medium front pouch with an inner smaller pocket, an even smaller zipper pocket, and three pen holder slots. And a small, upper pouch at the top of the bag. Pouch is a weird word. Pouch, pouch, pouch. It's good for the price, comfortable enough. Nice and light.
