These taste great! I have the option of adding as much sugar as I like. The cooking instructions are easy to follow as well. Great price. I have purchased these several times now.

When I tried to cook these, they turned to mush. Not sure what I did wrong but all went into the trash.

They arrived with a large amount already broken down into a powder. The texture is also weird. Wish I had read that it was not eligible for return/refund before buying, since Amazon is usually good about that.

I must have received a bad batch because these turned into a thick gravy and before I even cooked it it broke like marzipan in my hand. I’ve never had this issue with any other brands. They’re gross.

Not usable. They melt into a solid gelatinous goo when you cook them. Makes a mess and has to be thrown out. Bummer. Other brands work great and I bought a huge bag of them.

Le perle sono arrivate completamente integre, profumano di zucchero di canna. Dopo averle assaggiate direi che sono perfette, anche se ci vuole un po’ a prepararle e a capire come farlo. Infatti una pecca del prodotto è la mancanza di informazioni sul pacchetto, le uniche istruzioni date sono di andare a vedere un video su YouTube che non è nemmeno raggiungibile con il link indicato (un qr code sarebbe più pratico). Non ci sono indicazioni su come conservarle una volta aperto il pacchetto, né su quanto durano da crude o da cotte. Facendo un po’ di ricerche online ci si arrangia, ma sarebbe utile avere delle istruzioni chiare direttamente sull’etichetta. Se può tornare utile a qualcuno, riassumo quello che ho imparato. Preparazione: portare ad ebollizione acqua in proporzione 6:1 (6 tazze d’acqua per ogni tazza di perle), aggiungere le perle e mescolare finché non vengono a galla, cuocere per 30 minuti mescolando di tanto in tanto, spegnere il fuoco e lasciare coperto 20-30 minuti, scolare e sciacquare sotto l’acqua fredda, aggiungere sciroppo dì zucchero di canna (zucchero e acqua, scaldati a fuoco basso finché non si addensa un po’). Il sapore delle perle dipende molto da quest’ultimo passaggio, aggiustare la quantità di zucchero secondo i gusti. Personalmente le trovo un po’ troppo morbide con questo metodo di cottura, proverò in futuro ad accorciare i tempi. Conservazione: da cotte e sciroppate si conservano in frigo in un contenitore ermetico per una settimana, da crude sempre in contenitori ermetici o sottovuoto in congelatore fino a 6 mesi.
