After getting the correct size, I could not be happier. I was going by the size chart and went with the XL due to my chest being a 44-ish. When I put it on it was definitely too big. I returned the 2 I had ordered and exchanged them for L and they fit PERFECT. A little stretch is nice and the colors(both dark blue and the white) look sharp and crisp. The weather can change 5 different ways in one day here in TN so this jacket will cover most situations. The fabric is lightweight but has fome "ooph" to it and feels solid on my body. Again just for reference, I am a stockier build.... 5'5" 44ish chest, 34 waist, long torso. Large fits perfect, BUT the vest might be too long if you have long legs and a shorter torso. I am about to order 2 more colors.

I got this vest for the pockets, light weight, and water repellent feature. I wore it on a trip to Ireland and England. Combined with a light rain jacket doubling as a windbreaker it performed very well. It even shed a cup of tea that I managed to dump on myself, with no stain. The interior pockets were very useful and reachable. The large inside pocket was not closed at the bottom when I got it, I assumed it was a pocket, so I carefully applied a thin bead of flexible waterproof adhesive like E**** or Shoe G**p. I placed it inside down on wax paper with a weight on top until dry. Held up fine, still going strong.

it is an excellent price and fits perfectly. actually a little loose which is great for layering.

I have been looking for a durable outdoorsy vest to wear for quite some time. I came across this particular vest and decided to give it a try as it was a very affordable price. I am highly satisfied with the quality and the look and feel of the materials. It seems to have some sort of Gore-Tex on the outside, so that water doesn't stain but instead beads up and you can just wipe it off. it has a vertical zipper pocket up on the chest and two zipper pockets down by your hands. The inside is lined and very soft. All of the zippers are quality and it looks nice win worn. I will definitely buy another one of these in the future. Highly recommended.

This does seem to be a quality vest. I am disappointed that the inside lining and collar are grey not black as shown in the ad. I don't want to return it, but wished the description matched the actual product. All black would have been dressier and better for him to wear for work. So that's frustrating.

I have a down vest and one that is just for wind. This is right in the middle. It’s super versatile, great pockets and is just warm enough for Spring/Fall temps. I wear this to work over a dress shirt and on the weekends with a “T”. I’m 6-0 x 185 and the large was perfect.

Bought this mainly for extra indoor warmth during the fall/winter because I hate bulky sleeves. I had also tried the similar 33,000ft vest and this is basically the same general design, so I'll compare it to that one.First off, it doesn't have any of the stupid gimmicks (useless sideways velcro chest pocket, media port nobody uses, etc) and it's $30 cheaper. There's also no annoyingly thick horizontal seam (because it lacks an inside zipper pocket) that causes the whole thing to bunch up when sitting down. If you can live without extra pockets then you'll likely appreciate this. The outer material is a bit noisy but it's windproof so that's kind of expected. There's no bulky double zipper and the 'lip' at the top is looser, so it doesn't get in the way of fully zipping it up.I guess they took the exact same China vest template and simplified it -- which can be seen as an improvement IMO. I'm definitely not going to be using this as a primary outer layer in the middle of winter but it functions nicely for what I got it for. The outside fleece-lined pockets also feel smoother compared to the other one.

Just perfect for an Ottawa winter. The hat was a bit large, but once I figured out that you could roll up the back an inch or two. It fit perfectly.
