This charger has been the perfect companion for my Eneloop rechargeable batteries. I used a La Crosse charger for years and loved it, but when it finally failed and was no longer available, this turned out to be an excellent replacement. It actually works even better than my old charger, and I especially appreciate being able to charge different battery types and capacities at the same time. The display is easy to read, the charging performance has been flawless, and the blue backlight is a cool touch. Highly recommended.

This charges my eneloop batteries quickly, quietly, and produces very little heat in the process. The display makes everything clear and I really like the refresh function. I like that it has a pass through USB option as well.

This charger can independently charge any combination of 1-4 AA or AAA Eneloop Pro or normal (white) Eneloop batteries, while telling you their exact voltage and charging status at all times. This connects to the wall with a plug at the end of a power cable, vs. their other chargers which generally have a foldable plug built into the charger, which you basically hang against the wall outlet. My other Eneloop chargers besides this one (most of the ones that come with the batteries) consistently fail or begin not charging my batteries correctly. Not sure what makes this charger special but it's perfect. In my opinion, unless you have very specific needs, this is and will continue to be the best charger Panasonic/Eneloop sells. It diagnoses battery health, never overcharges, and always charges every battery individually to the maximum and then stops. The Refresh feature runs a few cycles of fully charging and depleting the batteries, and has actually resurrected a handful of my older Eneloop Pro batteries, which highly impressed me. I would say it's one of the best features on the charger, and easily makes it worth buying over anything else. HIGHLY recommend this if you are even slightly invested in Eneloop's batteries. I'd pay like $100 for this charger.

Good quality. Know exactly how much it’s charged

If you use rechargeable batteries YOU NEED THIS THING! I’ve been using eneloop batteries for 10 years or so. They work great at first of course, so I bought more for pretty much everything that uses batteries. Unfortunately, all I had was the cheep charger you get with the 4 battery pack that comes with a charger. Worked great until the lights at the bottom start blinking under the batteries. I know that means the batteries are going bad, but they lasted for a while when I put them in remotes and stuff like that, so I kept using them. Then it got to the point where I was replacing them every other day and MOST of them were flashing. So I bought one of these rechargers so I could actually diagnose the individual batteries to find out which ones were just plain dead. Game changer!! First it told me several of the batteries were pretty much dead (as I expected), but it has a feature that allows you to completely discharge up to 4 batteries at a time, and then recharge them in one go. It took 4 hours or so on some of them, but now that I threw out the ones I actually now know for sure were bad, and reconditioned the rest, my devices are all working so much longer since I don’t have bad batteries in the mix with good ones. I know it’s a bit pricey, but I wish I had bought this thing with my first set of batteries. As far as I can tell, it works with any rechargeable battery. I would absolutely recommend this!

This charger is fast! Coming from experience with LaCrosse BC-700 the speed of charging is night/day. The LaCrosse is still used but I just needed to charge / refresh more batteries at a time (the LaCrosse is also 4-battery capacity). Originally, I was just thinking to get an 8-battery capacity at the same rate. LaCrosse refresh can take days. This one takes overnight. Now this new charger is my primary one, and the LaCrosse is a backup. The only feature I like on the LaCrosse which I don't have on this new one is the ability to set modes for each battery. This Panasonic is all or nothing, meaning it will charge or refresh ALL batteries placed in it. The LaCrosse can set Charge, Refresh, Discharge modes for each battery which is really nice. Hence the 4/5 rating for me. Still would recommend since it works so fast!

I have this and the Fenix model that’s similar. I have too many batteries that why. Anyways this is a good charger. I’m not a tech nerd so I wanted something that works with my eneloop pros as that is all I buy now. Some have said other brands (some have issues) I don’t know if that’s true as my Fenix charges my emeloops fine. But I didn’t want any doubt and as I really like my eneloop pros I wanted one built to charge them. I haven’t tried another brand in this. The Fenix does charge Amazon rechargeable batteries fine. Why all the comparison? Well, there’s choice out there and it can get confusing on what to buy. So my suggestion is if you use eneloops get a eneloop charger as you’ll have zero headaches. If you have an assortment I can recommend the Fenix brand. But this charger is good, though you have to plug it in with an AC cord. Unlike the other eneloop chargers that have the plug built in and you stick in the socket. This one allows better visual placement. It also has a refresh option which I have yet to use. Fit and finish is very good. Recommended

With the display, I know the voltage and state of the battery. It's easier to tell if the battery are fully charged as well. Comparedto the cheaper LED status model, this is a very huge upgrade. With the cable it's also easier to load the batteries into the charger. And I do not have to remove it from the wall outlet every time I want to remove the batteries. I love this charger. Worth the price and for the ease of use and efficiency.

Charge les batteries individuellement, affiche leur état de santé et permet de réaliser un cycle de régénération. A cause de lui, j'ai jetté un certain nombre de batteries à bout de souffle plutôt que de ne pas comprendre pourquoi un groupe d'entre-elles ne tenait plus la charge.
