Wolverine Men's Moc-Toe 6" Work Boot

Just picked up a pair of Wolverine boots and so far, I’m impressed. They have a very clean-cut, classic look—nothing too bulky or overdesigned. They strike a nice balance between rugged and professional, making them versatile enough for both work and casual wear. Fit-wise, they’re not too tight or too loose—just right out of the box. That said, they are a bit stiff at first, so expect a break-in period before they really start to mold to your feet. The build quality feels solid, and they seem like they’ll hold up well over time. Overall, great value for anyone looking for a dependable, good-looking boot that’s built to last. Just give them a little time to soften up and you’ll be glad you did.

First off I must say that I have been wearing Wolverine boots for the last 10 years. I have always enjoyed the excellent comfort and durability. So far these boots have not failed to meet my expectations. These boots are pretty comfortable right out of the box and need very little break in. They do run about 1/2 size large compared to the other Wolverines that I have owned, but I had read reviews and I ordered them a half size smaller than normal. They fit perfectly. After one day of wearing them they feel great on my feet. I am a carpenter that is standing for the most part of 8 hours a day. These boots keep them comfortable all day. The only thing that I did not like about the boots was the insoles. They are a bit thin, and don’t support my high arches very well. I am sure they would be good for someone without high arches. I did have to send one pair back to Amazon because one of the boots was bigger than the other, but the customer service is second to none. They had the new pair on my doorstep in two days and free shipping for the pair I returned. I think that these boots will be very durable, and they should have a great service life. The build quality is great. The soles are also awesome for construction. They grip well on many surfaces and are easy to clean to keep from tracking dirt in houses. I highly recommend these boots along with other Wolverines, and I recommend buying them from Amazon.

So I've had these boots for about two months now, 1 month of daily wear. I work indoors on concrete, 10 hour shift and do at least 10 miles a day sometimes 15. I wore these for my first week and the next week I wore some Nike running shoes that actually cost more than these boots just to see if there was a difference. There was, a huge difference. The boots 100% are better than the nike shoes. I weigh 190lbs and that just crushed the nike shoes. Every step I took I could feel the sole just squish down offering 0 support for my heels. What you'll immediately notice about these boots is that the soles are super thick. Maybe a little to excessive but its like that for a reason. When I walk with these its super comfortable, perfect toe space, and because of the thick sole, awesome amount of support for a big guy. I have feet pain every evening when I get out of work with these boots but thats to be expected when you walk that amount everyday. When I wear my Nike running shoes, the pain is unbearable and I feel it right away. Hands down Id take these boots over running shoes any day. The support is there, the protection is there. It has happened to me numerous times when walking around wooden pallets, while wearing mesh running shoes, a piece of wood or nail sticking out catches the mesh and makes me trip. With these leather boots, never happens. These are only my second pair of work boots so I can't really comment on the quality of leather, but I can say it feels nice and smooth. It does get scuffed up really easy but who cares, these boots are for aesthetic appeal. They have good traction as well. I still have the original insoles and they seem to work just fine. I wouldn't consider switching them out until they're wore out. The only thing I did not like where the laces, they just felt cheap, I swapped them out from the laces on a moc toe boot from Academy that I bought a while ago that didn't last but the laces where nice.

1/8/17 I've only had them a week, but here's my out of box impression , 4 stars. Length is right on, I typically wear a wide 12 and the 12M fit very good on the length, but had more height between the top of my foot and the boot than I'm used to. I have flat feet so any discomfort in a shoe/boot is greatly exaggerated, in this case I found it to excellent comfort for a boot. It does have standard padded inserts with no arch support. For me the extra room above my foot was perfect situation for getting better insoles, the type I purchased had a medium arch support and decent support and cushion, which raised my foot up a bit making the fit of the boot perfect. The tread is very grippy! I've had issues with other tread on very smooth concrete when it's wet, not these! The leather at the ankle and above is soft leather, the base and top of the toe is a harder leather, but is not uncomfortable at all, very little break in required. I will update this as I wear them more, consider this a diary as I found other reviews such as this very helpful in my purchase. At this point I would definitely buy them again.

Love these! 😉 This is a replacement pair. My others, about 15+ years old just needed to be retired. Think my feet grew too! Anyway, same great feel, nice soft leather, decent price, larger size! 🥾 I have put two coats of Bickmore leather conditioner on them also.

Great comfortable work boots. After three solid years of everyday wear I was ready for another pair. Look forward to breaking in the new ones but sure will miss the comfort of the old ones.

These boots are quality Wolverines! The have a good grade of leather for the uppers. This leather is nice and thick and would seem to be very durable over many years. The soles are real Wolverine soles and you can tell by the touch that these will withstand a lot of abuse of extreme conditions. Now, if you are just wearing these for casual outing then you may never have to consider a resole somewhere down the road. The stitching is is very tight and a lot of seems that have been masterfully sewed to exacting specifications. The fit is somewhat big. I always wear a 10.5 in all my shoes/boots and my foot shifted around in the boot more than what I expected. Easy Remedy: Put a pair of Dr. Scholl inserts (Just regular old Dr. Scholl's) and that will take out some of that slack room that you may feel in the boot. It will also soften the soles and make the boots even more comfortable. These bots are are a great value and well worth the money for either industrial use or just casual dress.

Bought these boot for my husband. He works in a lumber yard for 12+ hrs. He needs a boot that is comfy,wide and can take walking on concrete, snow, gravel, mud and be rain proof and slip resistant. So for they are getting the job done and my husband loves them. He says "loves them boots" We did have to buy new Insoles. the insoles that came with boots were to thin and would make his feet hurt. (The insoles are removable) I would recommend buying a full size half smaller then your regular shoe size. they do run more on the large side. We did have to return the first pair of boots due to the boots running more on the large side. My husband wears a size 11 and I bought a 11 1/2 thinking they might run small. Wrong! Had to return them and repurchased the boots in a size 9 1/2 and those fit perfectly. Yay! I would have gave it five stars but the whole issue with the insoles & size. Mala experiencia con la talla, soy talla 29cm Aunque en botas uso siempre talla 30, despues de leer las reseñas decidi pedir talla 29 porque varios hablaban sobre que vienen grandes, en mi caso aun asi no son de mi talla, me quedan grandes ademas me enviaron una talla extra wide que viene muy ancha, estoy pensando si devolverlas o no, se miran muy buenas solo tengan mucho cuidado con las tallas

These boots were bought for my BF and he loves them. He wanted a good boot for on the motorcycle . They are well made and light weight. Would order again if we had to.

Love my Wolverines. Would buy every colour if I could!!
