Everyone who owns a Kindle Fire HDX should read this book—and should have it on hand as a reference. The author covers just about everything a user could ever want to know in a short and very understandable manner. The author carefully included enough information to explain the Kindle Fire and what it can do, but not too much information that would put the reader/user into overload. In addition, there are numerous screen shots of the Kindle Fire HDX, so the reader/user can see what exactly the author is talking about. I have had my Kindle Fire about six months and wish this had been available during the first weeks I stumbled around and called Amazon using Mayday many times, trying to figure out my Kindle Fire. I thought I really understood and could use my Kindle Fire, but, after reading the book, I still found many new, useful items that will make using my Kindle Fire all the better for me. I really liked the way the author covered the information he provided, not too much, not too little and with well written, understandable explanations/discussions. After reading this book, I now feel far more confident using my Kindle Fire, and will definitely find it even far more useful in my everyday life. I will definitely keep this book on hand as a reference for use every day. I recommend every Kindle owner/user get this book and read it thoroughly from cover to cover. Kindle Fire User Manual was just what I needed, since I could not seem to find any information on using the phone features on my 8.9, The author really did a good job, not only with words, but, also pictures, and I had no idea how easy it would be, until I invested into this great book, so, to me it was a MUST/PLUS

This was a Christmas gift from my husband, and a huge surprise! I've loves it since then! The graphicsa are incredible, and I often watch movies while sitting it next to me while I knit. Works great with earphones, and all in all I find new things to do with it every day. There is nothing about it that I could think of improvind--have a couple of guides, and read and re-read them frequently. I'm in my seventies, so occasionally have to ask a grandchild for help, but it's so easy to use, that doesn't happen often. I've had my Kindle keyboard for several years, and don't think I've read anything since then that i haven't read on my kindle--l have a waterporrf pouch for it, and love to sit in my floatie in the pool and reading. My Kindle Fire is spectacular--love, love, love it!

The very first time I used my Kindle Fire & didn't know much about navigation - I knew I needed help in the form of a 'how to' book. Luckily one of the first apps offered to me was the one for Steve Weber's 'Users Manual' & I bought it immediately. What a relief to have just the help I needed right when I needed it most. Followed by a paperback manual - that made it even better ! I now use my Kindle with my 'Users manual' open right beside it. A combination that can't be beat for someone as forgetfull as I am.So I highly recommend Steve Weber's Users Manual for Kindle Fire HDX to anyone who wants/needs a little or a lot of help learning their way around on an allnew revolutionary devise like Kindle Fire. This is a VERY good resource, not only for those new to Kindle but for those who already own one but have not used it for much other than books and apps. It really is an amazing device.The author does a fine job of writing in a step-by-step manner that makes following the directions easy. He also provides information on resources other than Amazon. This is definitely a handy book to hang on to.As an aside- I have found that the best way to find free books on my Kindle is to use "free kindle books" as a search term and then select the book store (not the regular Amazon site). You can then use the filter to choose things like highest rated or newest additions. This also works well for finding a specific genre. For example, "free kindle books mystery" or "free kindle books horror".

My Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a little over one year old but this book must apply to a different tablet. Very few of the references to menus, screens, and other directions match what I have on my unit. I purchased the printed version because wanted to move step by step with a reference on the side but it is not worth the extra cost. If you are considering this, I recommend just the Kindle version so you can make your own decision without spending the extra money.

I've owned a Kindle Fire for over a year now and just bought myself the Kindle Fire HDX. This manual explains a lot of the differences in an easy-to-understand format.I especially liked the sections about "Collections" and "Using My Wireless Printer." There were all kinds of tidbits included in the book - many things I didn't even realize the HDX was able to do.I hardly use my laptop any more. The Kindle Fires have taken the place of the laptop for me. I love them and I especially like resources such as this manual that are clear, concise, arranged intuitively and make my life easier.

Would like to thank Mr Weber for putting together this users manual. It's too bad that now days if you want a users guide you have to view it on line or pay for a copy. I live in a rural area and have a usage meter with my internet and really don't want to waste my usage looking up questions I have about a device I have purchased. The areas of the book I've viewed have been very helpful in answering my questions. I also download a copy of the manual to my kindle, but I find the hard copy more useful. Thank you again Mr Weber

Having bought my wife a New Kindle HDX , I also got this Guide to help here understand what it can do. The book is very clear and concise and explains thing in plain English. Well worth it if you are buying a Kindle HDX

A reasonable manual and gives good information, worth buying, only fault is it does not (as many others don't) guide you step by step in how to do things it simply describes what to do.

This is very good especially for someone like me who is still finding my way round my tablet . Since using this guide I no longer have to keep ringing my grandsons to help me. Independent at last- thank you Steve Weber for your brilliant book!

A very easy book to work with and it is very helpful, I'm not great with modern stuff and it used plain simple words

at the moment it is helping me to get to grips with the KIndle fire HDX it is a good help
