Got this to replace an old king sized waterprrof protector I'd been using for a long time. My husband suffers night sweats and so this type of sheet is needed to protect the mattress from yellow sweat stains. I have to say im so impressed with this product, I immediately purchased another. The toweling side is so soft and the waterproof side makes no annoying crinkling sound. The main bonus is the fact you can tumble dry it! Something I've never been able to do with these types of sheets before. The trim to secure it under the mattress and keep it in place is like a stretchy mesh and works perfectly. I really would 100% recommend this mattress protector.

These are great quality and they are very comfortable on the bed, you can’t even notice it’s there. They don’t have a crunchy feel and they are not noisy like other ones. Perfect for protecting your mattress.

I bought this mattress protector as a more budget-friendly alternative to a bamboo one, mainly because we needed several protectors in rotation due to increased washing with a baby in the house. For that purpose, it’s been a sensible and practical buy. It does what you want a basic waterproof protector to do. It fits the mattress well, stays in place, and provides reliable protection from leaks and spills during night feeds and nappy changes. Once it’s on and covered with a fitted sheet, it’s perfectly comfortable for everyday use, even if it doesn’t have the same soft, premium feel you get from bamboo-based options. Noise levels are reasonable. It’s not completely silent, but it’s far from the worst - there’s a slight rustle when moving around, though nothing that’s woken us up or felt distracting. Given the price point, that feels like a fair trade-off. It’s also held up well in the wash so far. We’ve washed it frequently at standard temperatures and it’s kept its shape, with no obvious shrinking or deterioration. That’s been important as it’s been through the machine far more often than a typical mattress protector would. I am a foster carer for teenage girls, these save me from having to buy a new mattress every time a new girl arrives. I also use them on holiday in a touring caravan to protect the cushion covers. I have not tested them in terms of their effectiveness with enuresis, they don't let other liquids seep through, so I would imagine you would just need something absorbent on top of it. What I can say is that they protect against spilled drinks, make up, fake tan, leaking pens and just about anything you can imagine that might get onto a mattress without them there. Just as importantly, they are comfortable to sleep on. The elastic is strong enough to hold the protector in place and the towelling top means that sheets don't slide about on top like they do with other liquid-proof mattress protectors. Obviously they're very easy to use - they go on just like a fitted sheet. They're about the same weight as a fitted sheet too. They are quite heavy when they're wet, so you need to bear it in mind when loading your washing machine. When I dry them inside I always put them to dry with the waterproof side up first, then turn them over. They wash well, I use environmentally safe laundry products including a stain remover when necessary. I always separate my colours before washing, so i don't know whether they would absorb colours from other items, but they come out white . They're extremely durable, they wash and wash. The waterproof backing hasn't stiffened or cracked and a couple have been in use for about 3 years. I was going to knock a star off for the fact that I have to turn them over during drying, but having reflected on how well they perform and for how long, that seems a bit unreasonable. It's only a minor thing and these have saved me at least £1,000 on buying new mattresses over the years. They're not just useful for people in ill-health or with disabilities - they save your mattress from the demands of teenage girls too!

Fantastic, not noisy, soft and it wothstood a massive bed wetting overnight with no dampness going through to mattress. Will buy another.

Bought this because my bird loves squirting, my mattress was getting wrecked so we splurged on one of these. Let me tell you, it does do the trick, only one time since then has it gone through, however I fear this is user error as we didn’t switch position for a while. We bought another one just now because we needed to get a rotation going - it takes a while to dry so sometimes we had to be without. If it dried quicker it would be 5*
